[Xerxes]
Death.....Gods?

Xerxes stares and trembles in fear.

[Xerxes]
Heh.....

[Cross]
Hmm?

[Xerxes]
Heheh....heahahahahahahaahaha!!!!
Oh that's some funny trick you got there!
A Death God!?
Seriously!?
Heheheh, don't make me laugh anymore!
Oh god my ribs!
Kekekekeke.

Xerxes continues to laugh for several seconds.

[Arme]
What's so funny?

[Eternal]
He probably thinks that Richard already gone weaker in his current state since he can't feel his magic pressure anymore.

[Arme]
Well it is true I can't sense any of them right now but, why he did that?

[Eternal]
..........

[Arme]
What's wrong?

[Cross]
I'll explain to her.
Right now, Richard is dead.

[Arme]
What!?

[Cross]
In order to gain power, he has to be dead.
But, with a price.

[Arme]
Then that means.....

[Cross]
Yes. this time, he lost his magic power and his presence as a human being.
No one will notice him, nor anyone will remember him.

[Arme]
That's....

[Cross]
Cruel?
Heh, looks like you don't know him like we do.

[Richard]
Are you done, Xerxes?

[Xerxes]
Hehheh....
Yeah I'm done, well let's finish this shall we?

As Xerxes averted his eyes-

[Richard]
Very well.

Richard was already in front of him.

[Xerxes]
!!??

By instinct, Xerxes jumps back as hard as he can.

[Xerxes]
What the hell!?
Since when he get so close?
I didn't sense him until he spoke!
No...the problem is, he doesn't emits anything....
Shit this is different than the last time we fought!

[Richard]
There's plenty of beautiful thing is this world, a flower blooming during it's season, food made by the finest chefs, even masterpiece created by a master artisan.

[Xerxes]
What the hell are you talking about?

[Richard]
What I'm trying to say is, all of that cannot compare what will happen to you.

[Xerxes]
And that is?

[Richard]
Death.

[Cross]
Damn like a true sadist....

[Eternal]
Well I know he was a psycho about this kind of thing but not this much......

[Arme]
I don't know.....
That line actually was pretty epic and made him look cool.

[Eternal]
Wait what?

[Cross]
I got nothing to say....

[Xerxes]
Death eh?
Well too bad since I already on death's door plenty of times and they won't let me in no matter what.

[Richard]
Because I didn't let you, what's fun about give you a peaceful death when you committed so many crimes?
It's not beautiful at all, so this time-

Richard summoned a scythe.

[Richard]
I'm going to enjoy this~

[All]
Like a freakin natural born sadist.... O_o;

Xerxes charges forward-

[Xerxes]
Wha-

But Richard's scythe was already at his neck.

[Richard]
Slow.

He dodged at the last second, but his entire arm was cut off.

[Xerxes]
GHHhh....
Damn you!

[Richard]
.............
You've just made me lost my interest on you Xerxes.
I believed you managed to dodge that while i was holding back within this form but...
It was all for naught.
Now take your arm and leave and never return.

Richard turns and starts walking away.

[Xerxes]
YOU!!
DON'T YOU DARE TURN YOUR BACK ON ME!!!!

He charges forth again.

[Arme]
RICHARD!!!

[Richard]
Fool.

Richard turns normally while Xerxes was still flying in midair.

[Xerxes]
What the!?
He's turning around normally while I'm still in the air at this speed!?

Richard touches his head.

[Richard]
Your own arrogance and pride will be your own demise.

Xerxes suddenly freezes in midair.

[Arme]
What the!?
What just happen!?

[Eternal]
A binding technique.

[Cross]
Basic but the most strongest.
A mere touch can bind the strongest warrior.

[Eternal]
And look away and cover your ears.

[Arme]
What?
Why?

[Eternal]
Just do it, you don't want to see this.

[Arme]
........

She turns around and cover her ears.

[Xerxes]
Grrr, nggghhh!!!
I can't move!!

[Richard]
Eternal, Cross.
It's time.

[Eternal/Cross]
Understood.

The two of them stands besides Richard.

[Cross]
Xerxes, according to the law of the Gods.
You've violated the most forbidden taboo.

[Eternal]
And for that, you will be punished by your sins.
Your sentence will be on the highest degree.

[Richard]
You will wander through the forsaken realm and your soul will be purged continuously for an eternity.

All three of them raise their scythes.

[Richard/Cross/Eternal]
May the God of The Underworld have mercy on your soul.
FOR WE WILL NOT.

And swing down, slicing him.
Xerxes burst into flames afterwards, screaming in agony before he begs them to stop.
Arme trembles, even though she closes her ears, she can still hear the screams.
The Judgement continues for several minutes before Xerxes turns into ashes.

[Eternal]
It's done, Aniki.

[Cross]
*sigh*
I still can't get used to that.

[Richard]
...............

The three of them revert to their original forms.

[Richard]
You two go tend to Elesis's wounds and bring her back to the camp.

[Eternal]
Are you coming?

[Richard]
No, I want to be alone for awhile.

[Eternal]
............

Eternal starts walking.

[Cross]
Nii-sama, it wasn't your fault, and you have to do what you had to do.
I think Xerxes will feel the same way.

[Richard]
.............

Cross taps his shoulder and leave him.

[Richard]
But was it really the right thing to do.....I wonder....

[Star]
Heyy!!!
You guys!!!

Star and the others arrived unto the scene.

[Ronan]
*pant* *pant*
Damn we just made it in time!

[Arme]
Over here!!

[Lire]
Hey where's Rich?

[Arme]
He's over there.
You guys just past him.

Arme points where Richard is.

[Lire]
Eh?
I didn't notice he was there before...

Ryan walks towards him.

[Ryan]
Yo Rich we heard what happened!
Nice work on finishi-

As Ryan was about to tap his shoulder, he fell unto his knees before falling to the ground.

[Ryan]
Rich!!

[Cross]
Nii-sama!!

[Star]
Nii-Chan!!

[Eternal]
ANIKI!!!!

 Spoiler

Three days has passed since the battle.
The team didn't know who attacked them during that time, so they decided to return to Serdin to seek shelter until they can move again.

[Knight Master]
*slams the table*
Damn!
When did this happened!?

[Arme]
T-three days ago ma'am.

[Knight Master]
Were there any casualties?

[Lire]
None, but Elesis was wounded terribly and Richard is.....

[Knight Master]
What about him?

[Star]
He's condition is stable but he is in a coma state for now.

[Knight Master]
*sigh*
What about Elesis?

[Lire]
Her wounds are healing but she can't move around yet.

[Knight Master]
*sigh*
I doubt that.
So, is it really true that Richard lost his powers?

[Arme]
Yes.

[Knight Master]
Are you sure about this?

[Arme]
I'm positive, right now he doesn't emits nor receive any magical energies, even though we forced it into him.
Practically, he's a blank.

[Knight Master]
*sigh*
Just as soon things can't get any worse.....

Knight Master stands up and walks towards the door.

[Knight Master]
Walk with me.

The others follow.
-----------------------------------------------------------
[Elesis]
*pant**pant*
Ngghhh!

Elesis walks and staggers while she trying to find Richard.

[Ronan]
Elesis!!

Ronan catches up to her.

[Ronan]
What the hell are you doing!?

[Elesis]
*pant**pant*
I need to Nghhh!
*pant*
see him....

[Ronan]
Nonsense!
Your wound might open up if you keep pushing yourself!!

[Elesis]
But I need to see him!
*pant**pant*
He........he's the only one I have right now.....

Elesis continues walking.

[Ronan]
*sigh*
I might regret this later....

Ronan walk pass her and crouch.

[Ronan]
I'll take you to him.

[Elesis]
Thanks....

Elesis climbs behind him.

[Ronan]
Just so you know, you're not the only one whose worried about him.

Ronan starts running while piggyback Elesis.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Just outside the city.

[???]
Heheheh, I can't believe he finally gives in!
Now, it's time I claim my power.
Just you wait, Shinigami!
-----------------------------------------------------------
Elesis and Ronan arrived at Richard's ward.

[Ronan]
We're here.

Ronan put her down.

[Ronan]
I'll open the door for you.

Ronan opens the door-

[Ronan]
Wha-

There, a black hooded shroud with a scythe, stands besides Richard, his hand, nothing but bones reaches for his flesh.

[Ronan]
STOP!!

[???]
Hmm?
Oh I didn't notice there was someone on the door.

Ronan took out his sword.

[Ronan]
Who are you!!?

[???]
Well for now, you can call me, Shinigami, I'm his power to be precise.

[Ronan]
His.....power?

[Shinigami]
Don't be alarmed, I'm merely nursing my vessel.
So fragile and weak, but yet, the only who can withstand me.

[Ronan]
What do you want?

[Shinigami]
I already said i was nursing him, there's nothing that i want.
So please sheathe your sword, you might scare the other patients.

A nurse suddenly walks into the room.

[Nurse]
Ronan-san!
Please put that dangerous thing away!
You might scare Shinigami-san!

[Ronan]
Eh?
Oh sorry.

Ronan sheathe his sword instinctively.

[Ronan]
Wait what the hell am I doing!?? O_O

[Nurse]
My dashing as ever Shinigami-san.

[Shinigami]
Why thank you nurse, and you're beautiful as always.

[Nurse]
Hehe, you're embarrassing me~!
Well I'll leave you two alone.

The nurse glare at Ronan.

[Nurse]
Don't you do anything to him!

[Ronan]
Y-yes nurse!

The nurse left the room.

[Ronan]
Wh-what just happen?

[Shinigami]
Normal beings such as her can see me the way they want to see it.
For her, I'm a gentleman in a suit.
Which is pretty irritating.

[Ronan]
Right...
Then why I can only see you in your true form?

[Shinigami]
Only one who made contact with the vessel directly can see my true form.
Now, can you let the little lady who waited patiently outside into the room?
I have something to discuss with her privately.

[Ronan]
R-right.

Ronan brings her into the room and locks the door while he waited outside.

[Elesis]
*pant*
Who are you?

[Shinigami]
I'm your future husband's power, you can call me Shinigami.

[Elesis]
Why are you here?

[Shinigami]
Nursing him of course.
But let's get straight to the point.
What I really wanted was you, Elesis Sieghart.

[Elesis]
Me?
Why?

[Shinigami]
Right now my vessel is putted to sleep in order to regain what he lost.
It's a hassle but that's the least I can do after what he's gone through.

[Elesis]
.....
Why you care about him so much?

[Shinigami]
Because he's our savior, without him, I wouldn't be here in the first place.

[Elesis]
Savior?
What do you mean savior?

[Shinigami]
Before he met Eternal and Cross, he saved me from my nightmarish world, a world of nothingness, empty and dark.
I don't know how long i was there, but when he came, all i saw was light.
It blinded me and shake me with fear.

Elesis was shocked when she heard those words.

[Shinigami]
He came to me and wishes to contract with me, a God that knows nothing but death.
I warned him the price that will eventually cost him his very soul.
But he insisted and took me out of that world, and every day after that, there was nothing but light and happiness to me.
Even know I can't still forget the words that made me accept him.

[Elesis]
What did he say?
-----------------------------------------------------------
[Richard]
So what?
I'll contract with you no matter how many times you warned me and reject me!
I will save you from this boring world that you live in!
I will show you what it means to live!
Shinigami!
-----------------------------------------------------------
[Elesis]
......
Well that's pretty much him.
He always stubborn to those kind of things.

[Shinigami]
Heh.
Even I can't believe i was fallen to those such words...

[Elesis]
Yeah, he's the kind that can accept everything, whether it was good or bad.

[Shinigami]
And that's why he was the only vessel that I can rely on.
But since he's fallen to such a state, I wonder it was a mistake...

[Elesis]
Don't worry!
He'll bounce back like always.
So in the meantime-

Elesis extends her hand towards Shinigami.

[Elesis]
Let's contract with me until he get's better!

[Shinigami]
Very well then.
But I must warned you, the price for-

[Elesis]
Forget the price!
Let's just do this as friends!

[Shinigami]
Friends?

[Elesis]
Well you are friends with Richard.
So that makes you my friend as well!
Don't you think?

Elesis smiles.

[Shinigami]
Hmph.
It looks like you really chose the perfect woman for you Richard.
Very well.
From this moment on, you, Elesis Sieghart, will be my master!

As soon they shook hands.

*boom*

[Elesis]
What the!?

Ronan slams the door open.

[Ronan]
We got contact outside the hospital!
You stay here!

[Elesis]
No!
I want to fight!

[Ronan]
In your condition!?
Hell no!

[Shinigami]
No, let her fight, it looks like the enemy this time is stronger than any of you putted together.
But with my help, we can mop the floor with this fool.

[Elesis]
You got it!

Elesis ran out of the room.

[Ronan]
Tch!!
-----------------------------------------------------------
[???]
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!
COME OUT SHINIGAMI!!!!!
I KNOW YOU'RE HERE!!!!!!

Elesis, Ronan and Shinigami arrived at the scene.

[Elesis]
Who the hell is that guy?

[Shinigami]
I don't know, but there's something weird about him.

[???]
Ahhhh there you are.....
I've been waiting for you Shinigami.........
It's time I claim you as my own!!!

[Ronan]
Who is he?
He seems to know you...

[Shinigami]
Who are you mortal?

[???]
Huh!?
You don't remember me???
I was the one who got thrown into purgatory 80 years ago!

[Shinigami]
Ahh, now I remember.

[Elesis]
Who is he?

[Shinigami]
Richard's first offender, Siegfried Barsberg.
-----------------------------------------------------------
A new enemy has emerges in the peaceful city in order to claim Shinigami!
Will the battle becomes disastrous?

You can't even see the steps in front of you!!!

[Ronan]
Wha?

[Elesis]
He's......blind?

[Richard]
True I'm blind, but-

Richard suddenly appeared in front of Siegfried, already put Ronan's sword on his neck.

[Siegfried]
Wha???

[Richard]
I don't really use my eyes much so this is just like a normal day for me.

Siegfried jumps back and upon landing he charges towards Richard.

[Ronan]
Richard!!!

[Elesis]
Rich!!!

Siegfried thrusts, but Richard was already crouching on top of his sword.

[Siegfried]
What the!?
There's no weight?!
It feels like he's not even there!!

[Richard]
Heh, with your current level of fighting, I don't even need to use my full strength.
This alone, is enough.

Richard snaps his finger on Siegfried's forehead.
Sending him flying and rendering him unconscious.

[Richard]
Shinigami, collect him and send him back, and increase his sentence while you at it.

[Shinigami]
Alrighty....

Shinigami goes towards Siegfried.

[Richard]

A polite knocking sound on the door.

[Elesis]

[Elesis]
She's probably at the library or at her Magician faculty.

[Ronan]

[Ronan]
No.
She tells me nothing.....

[Elesis]
Oh god you still haven't get over with your lover's quarrel yet?

[Ronan]
It seems so...

Elesis stares at Ronan's depressed face.

[Elesis]

Ronan sat down and tell all his problems at Elesis.

[Elesis]
Damn, you're in deep shit here.....

[Ronan]
Tell me about it..........
Anyway what should I do?

[Richard]
Well just tell her how you feel you dumbass, clearly she's waiting for your answer all this time!

Awkward silence followed with an awkward stares.

[Richard]
Is there something on my face or what?

Elesis jump and hug him tightly.

[Elesis]
Idiot idiot idiot~!

[Richard]
Yeah sorry bout that, anyway Ronan, she's probably at the place where you two always have for your anniversary.

[Ronan]
I went there already, she wasn't there....

[Richard]

[Ronan]
Yeah sorry for disturbing you guys.

Ronan leave the room and head towards the mountain ridge.

[Ronan]
Look with your heart huh?

Ronan closes his eyes, and filled his mind with only the image and memories of himself with Arme.

[Arme]

Ronan turned around immediately.

[Ronan]
Arme.....

[Arme]
What are you doing he-

Ronan grabs and hugs Arme tightly.

[Arme]

[Ronan]
I won't, not again...

[Arme]

[Ronan]
I love you, more than ever before.....

[Arme]
Wha-wha....

You know how long have I been waiting for that answer!!

[Ronan]
I know, i was such a fool back then, never treasured the one thing that was right in front of me this whole time, but not this time.

Ronan took two steps back and kneel.

[Arme]
Ronan?

Ronan took out a box and open it, inside it, was a ring.

[Ronan]
Arme, will you marry me?

[Arme]
Nope.

[Ronan]

Arme turns around and starts walking.

Ronan begged as they continued walking when suddenly she turns back towards Ronan.

[Arme]

[Cross]
I don't know, but everything and everyone has gone rogue.
If this keeps up, the madness they harbor might spread to Ellia first, after that, the Bermesiah kingdom.

Suddenly they heard a faint eerie voice.

[???]
Mwuahahahahaha!
I'm impress you haven't turned mad like the rest of this fools that is under my control now!

[Eternal]
Sorry but we're too stubborn to be controlled in the first place~!

[Cross]

Two massive creatures appeared, cornered both of them on opposite direction.

[Eternal]

[Cross]
Eternal, keep your head together, we managed to provide an exit route for Zero, Mari, Lass and Amy, all we need to do now is keep this border safe.

[Eternal]
But, if this two are being controlled.........
Then that means.......
Cross, they're in danger!!

[Cross]
All four of them are strong together, they'll managed, anyway let's end this fast!
Sorry Octus!

Both of them fist bump each other, and Cross charges first.

[Eternal]

Eternal charges next, and their battle begins

[Elesis]
*pant* *pant*
Dammit.....can't we slow down a bit?!

[Ronan]
Yeah Rich.
We've been running for hours now!

[Arme]
I'm sure they'll be fine.

Richard suddenly stop and turn.

[Richard]
If you guys want to complain then stop and get some rest!
I'll go ahead alone!

[Ryan]
Dude what's the matter with you?
I'm sure Eternal and Cross already deal with the situation and went ahead of us.
So take it easy and relax man...

[Richard]
I know that.....
But I have bad feeling about this...

[???]
And you're right.

A man suddenly appeared in front of them.

[Ronan]
Wha-who are you?!

[Astaroth]
My name is Astaroth, The Ascendant God's servant.

[Richard]
What do you mean I'm right?

Richard glared at him with anger and bloodlust

[Astaroth]
Now now, I came here only to deliver a message, and a warning.
Turn back now, and your friends life will be spared.

[Elesis]
What have you done to them??!!!

[Astaroth]
Nothing really, except they're in a " serious " predicament.

[Elesis]
DAMN YOU!!

As Elesis was about to charge towards him, Ronan stopped her.

[Elesis]
Don't stop me Ronan!!

[Ronan]
Elesis wait.
Take a look around.

As Elesis look carefully, monsters, demons, even the natives of that forest gathered and surrounded them.

[Sieghart]
Damn, even I can't take all of them at once.

[Dio]
This is too much even for me

[Ley]
I can summon some of my minions but even i think twice about this.

[Arme]
We have no choice but to fall back for now.

[Richard]
I don't have time for this.

Spikes made from the earth suddenly appeared and stab everything, killing the natives and monsters in a gruesome death.

[Elesis]
Wha-what the?!

[Astaroth]
Now this is interesting....

[Richard]
Where are Eternal and Cross?

[Astaroth]
Heh, looks like my time here is up.
Until next ti-

Richard suddenly appeared behind him.

[Richard]
You still haven't answer my question.

[Astaroth]
!?

Richard gave a backhanded slap, the force was more than enough to send Astaroth flew, hitting trees and finally skid on the ground with his feet till he stops.

[Astaroth]
What the hell was that?
First I didn't sense his presence.
Secondly, that speed and power was ridiculous!
It's as if, the power he possesses is stronger than master...
MUCH stronger....
You're an interesting human, Richard.

[Richard]
DON'T YOU DARE CALL ME BY MY NAME FOOL!
AZRAEL'S JUDGEMENT!

A giant black pillar suddenly drop on top of Astaroth, but he managed to dodge it.

[Astaroth]
He even manage to summon one of Azrael's Judgement Pillar, the real one at that.
He's too dangerous, might as well report to master immediately.
If you want to see your friends, then come find them at the Ascendant's palace, we'll be waiting.

Astaroth disappeared.

[Richard]
*pant* *pant*
Guah!

Richard get down on his knee and coughed up blood.

[Elesis]
Richard!

[Dio]
Damn, to able to summon THAT, that's just ridiculous.......

[Ley]
Azrael's.......Judgement Pillar....First verse.......it can't be, I always knew but i had my doubts.......

[Sieghart]
What are you talking about?

[Ley]
Do you know the Death God that Richard made a contract with?

[Ryan]
You're talking about Shinigami?
What about him?

[Ley]
I think i know who it is........
It's Azrael himself...

[Sieghart]
!?

[Ryan]
Are you serious?

[Dio]
Impossible..............

[Ronan]
Guys!
We gotta keep moving!

[Sieghart]
R-right...

[Ronan]
?

[Sieghart]
We'll continue this after dark with Richard.
It seems like a new crisis is about to surface....

[Dio]
More like two....

[Ley]
