You need to right click on the script and then "Load":
If you want you can download the version without Update error´s here:

Hi, I need some help please. Everytime I click load script or anything on that top section, my flyff client just stops responding and then I have to close it. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

I tryed it for myself and it is working:
Maybe your av/UAC blocks it. You may want to turn it off to test that.

I tried that it and it didnt work =/
It's only when I load the script and click load, my client instantly goes unresponsive and the blue wheel cursor comes out.

Try to open up the script first and then start the client.
