ok, new version is out. this one has lotsa new gadgets and stuff, but still it's impossible to know if the fish breaks your rod, you just gotta use IRL instinct.

i still cant get it to work for my Vista.. i turned on the "run as XP" thing but it still isnt working.. would me being on a widescreen laptop have anything to do with it? i doubt it would but just throwing it out there.

here's a REALLY big tip to help this.

go to config >>> chat filters then on tell, click it once or twice.

it will get a small note symbol beside it. now when people send you a tell, a chime sounds.

i still cant get the bot or V2 to work on my Vista laptop.. ive tryed several different settings like running both as admin but nothing is working.. even the "run as XP" mode doesnt work for me..

any other settings i need to turn on? (run in 256 colors, disable scaling on high DPI settings ect.)

im on a wide screen HP laptop btw if that might have anything to do with it..

any ideas would be great i would really like to get this to work on my laptop

No idea whats wrong there I used vista and it works fine.
try installing .NET framework 2 (just a guess)

can someone explain how to get this bot to work? did i need some program that i can start the bot?

no, you just unzip the file, and in it there'll be a fishing.exe

click it and run it. simple.

Ok i've been using fishbot a lot lately but for some reason it is not reeling in the fish and recasting. It just says reeling in so/so and just stops there. wont recast unless i restart it. any suggestions? It'll work for a little bit but then it will stop.

Now the fishbot is causing my character to run around in circles.. anyone have same issue and know how to fix it?

Ok... nevermind i found out what the issue is. For some reason whenever Xfire is running it messes up the fishbot. I don't know if it is becuase of xfire being setup a certain way or what but after i closed out xfire the fish bot started working 100% just fine. just an FYI for you guys if you having same issue.

The bot recognized the equipment, but it will not cast. If I cast it does say waiting to bite, but when I get a bite it does not reel it in.

Go to and grab their latest version. That was the only windower program that I could find that would work with this fishbot.
