Well I have a dumb ish Q. How do we check what version of the game it's in?
I know the files are numbered, I mean the game itself what version it's in

to see and what version are you playing the game must go on hold any object in the house and press F1 at the top left will show the version

He is very busy and there will not be a new update until the 26th week

killa if you google "fiddler sims social" there are instructions on how to use it.
Basically extract files to a folder, click the auto responder tab and check the 2 boxes on the left (allow auto and allow pass through or something like that). Drag and drop extracted files onto fiddler.
Clear cache, open game. Voila.

My instructions are very undetailed and I'm too tired to really explain so google is your friend

Yeah I don't think anyone has figured it out yet. So until either someone does or Peter gets back we are stuck with just his temp update which does the unlimited backpack and ask friends. Not misc or old items.
I don't think, either, that it's just "a 10 minute fix" unless you really know what you're doing. It would be nice to have access to old shop items again but I will likely just have to wait til Peter returns
