gcrystal, you can't just edit the darn SWF file. You have to decompile it, compare it with the new SWF, edit the new one with notepad++, save and recompile the new SWF.
It's not that simple as just editing the SWF with notepad++ as SWF is in machine language, that is why you see weird symbols. LOL!
Try get Sothink Decompiler, then look at the Actionscripts inside the SWF and you will know what I mean. You have to extract those scripts out, edit them, recompile into the SWF then use it.
