.Dnp extractor.

Ok. Alot of the graphic files are in teh c3 anf data directories, but you might find that some are missing. They are infact, stored in the packed files, named c3.Dnp and Data.Dnp. This tool will simply extract individual files from the pack, by providing the filename you wish to unpack.

This is just a basic modification on my old WDF extractor for CO. TQ implemented a new pack structure called DawnPack, which is 'an optimised' version of the WDF. There isn't much difference.
Tool is simple to use, just find the filename of the graphic you wish to extract and run. The filenames are in various .ini and .ani files, such as 3dtexture.ini (contains all character skins etc).
DNPExtract [filename]

Source included for anyone who wishes to learn about the structure, or wishes to include pack I/O in an application.
If anyone plans to make a stand alone client, you'll need this. (some bot checks work by reading values from graphic files).

Oh, and report any bugs. Not just "it crashes", or "it doesn't work". I'll need to know what you were doing when it crashed and whatnot. It's only a quick written thing so its likely to have some bugs.

i think its use to edit files which u cant access like those in our eudemon folders which is in .ini / etc format ? yeah ?

no, its not that way. It lets you edit the graphics files only, and the format is specified above, just read unknnownone's post k?

lol it's just like the Conquer online .WDF extractor, it runs in command prompt Start > Run > cmd

type cd then the directory that the extracter is in and then use as DNPExtract [filename]

example: DNPExtract c3\texture\texture1.dds
thats how the CO version works anyhow

unless he's included a batcher for this as he did for CO i haven't downloaded it yet i do not play EU anymore =\.

Well, when i tried to extract "DNPExtract ini/3dtexture.ini" i got the message from windows ("DNPExtract.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience") with the send report thingy >.< then it crashes

doooh.. look in the 3dtexture.ini after filenames.. then extract the files named .dds in the end

not the .ini

the inifile only tells you where to find the dds files if you edit it
