Hi, seems like the newest game files were updated to v0.5, is it possible to give a crack at it>< here is a sample file
I am already aware the version has been updated. I don't have much time on my hand to update the tool at the moment, but I will of course take a look at it. Perhaps up to a month or two before I can actively work on it.
Presumably the changes to the file format are minor too.

To save you some time, they changed the key table and KOMv5 has a new header decryption scheme similar to the algorithms used in core files. The method of key selection is exactly the same, and both versions of KOMs are used in the client.
The .x files don't display any models when opened. I've tried using PMX Editor and other .x file programs I found online, and they all indicate that the files are invalid. I've checked the letter of the .X file to lowercase and tried all the files, but they still appear blank. The file sizes seem normal, ranging from 20KB to over 5000KB. I'm not sure if this issue is related to the recent updates. >< I apologize for any inconvenience caused, and I hope this kind of question doesn't add pressure to you. Thank you for your hard work!

Thanks for the considerate replies The new KOM files can now be extracted using the latest version of the extractor.

First of all, it is not related to the newest KOM version. This issue occurs, because the naming system of KOG is not normalized. .X and .Y files can both either be actual DirectX9 .X files or another custom KOG skin/animation format. You can determine this by opening the file in a hex editor. Seeing the file start with "xof" will mean that it is a directX file that you can open with some X file viewers (90% of X file viewers are absolutely bad at opening these files, because they only implement the common ways .x files are structured, or because the parsing algorithm is wrong (looking at you, blender .x importer). To view and convert the .x files to a less dusty format I recommend either Automapki or Assimp(?)) or the file starts with "KSM", meaning its a custom KOG file format, which currently it is not in my priorities to work on, but it's on my list.

Today's update changed it to V.0.6 whether KOG also recognized that V.0.5 could be unpacked.
KOG GC TEAM MASSFILE V.0.5. → KOG MASSFILE V.0.6.
noah model file
Thanks for the heads up. I have been made aware. I'll look into it when I have the time. Taking a small look into the file seems like only the encrypted unpacking algorithms have been altered and nothing else.
Additionally, update to the tool (in case I have worked on it) will happen at least only after the 7th of December 2023 to prevent premature/unintentional leakage of content. Let's enjoy the release all together
[Upload] A working kom extractor/packer for the new kom 08/22/2014 - Elsword - 65 Replies I obtained this program from a Korean elsword forum.
It works! But don't expect much; You cannot modify important files such as luas. However, you can still edit or exchange images, sounds, voices and etc. You can even unpack data036.kom, repack it, and use it in game.
A brief manual is included in the attached .rar file below, which contains only two python scripts for unpack/repack.
ps. I found the manual contained an error and corrrected it.
Seafight - Datamining Post 09/20/2013 - Seafight - 5 Replies It seems we have a wild treat coming soon - some new files were found in the Seafight client for the upcoming expansion of the game.
Probably the new expansion will bring the possibility to custom our ships using gems.
That`s it for now. It`s time to check these files now.

[Extractor]*.Kom Extractor 01/23/2011 - Elsword - 3 Replies Hey,
