Been using the hack since a while now.
Hack:
The hack is similar to another one I've used for DF. There's no in-game menu. You have to adjust everything using the keyboard. This is a bit annoying because you don't get any feedback when you've reached the maximum value for things like FOV or smoothing.
But once you've adjusted everything, it works well. At a distance, I sometimes get the feeling it's a little off. Up close, it grinds everything away.
Support/Other:
Support is handled as usual via Discord. Ticket system and chat included. The admin usually responds promptly to tickets and chat as well. The chat tone is a bit harsh, but you get used to it. Especially one person...
Otherwise, there are regular giveaways for one-day keys, discount codes and the developers are very fast. I haven't experienced any extended downtime after an update yet, regardless of the hack or game.
I would suggest that you try a one day key and try it on your own.
