Need help cannot connect to server. read on

i have 3 computers, one laptop conncets wirelessly to router and 2 desktops that are cable connect, both the laptop and one of the desktops can play 2moons with no problems, however one cant, it used to play then one day stopped, it is about 6 mths old, i reinstalled 2moons, i get to the login screen and i enter my login and password and it says cannot connect to server, yet both the other computer still can, i reinstalled the whole opperating system (vista ultimate) re installing the 2moons game, it updated both the game and gameguard, then in the login it gives the cannot connect to server

help.

i think u have to route the acclame domain to the right ip with your host file. search on the real 2moons board for an solution. i saw several topics about that.

i never had to do that before. i just installed the game and it ran, i know the server is online because i can still play on my other pc's. ive done all the windows updates, all the driver updates etc, its got me. short of throwing it in the pool then tying it to my car and taking it for a drag im out of ideas, will look into you suggestion.

Host File -
Go to C:WINDOWSsystem32driversetc and open Hosts file with NotePad/WordPad.
Add these 2 lines in bottom-
209.234.247.4 nprotect.acclaimdownloads.com
209.234.247.4 2moons.acclaimdownloads.com
Save file and exit

try this. but there is much trouble with vista lol. search button "vista error" 73 topics on the 2moons board.

so then is this for vista because i'm on xp haveing the same issue and apparently the problem is occurring for people that re-installed in the last few days! something to do with acclaim ok-ing your IP

I got same issue today. After reinstalling game.... After a while of frustration and reinstalls and pak switches with no results. I did get it working I figured this out... however the files originally were edited by toxin a ways back for something i borrowed from him. Anyway i figured they might work for this and they do. The original files might even work but I didnt bother to try since this did!! Simply use my folder or place your your USA folder under SHARE. Heres the link to download the fix. Darkwang i have installed the files.but i dont know where i put it on 2moons folder please reply?

just put the extracted usa folder into the data folder.

the path should be "2Moons/data/use/share"
