The traces are set through the plugins running on the server or the character of that banned account being loaded. As long as you don't run and install DayZ from the banned account you will be fine.

So, as long as I don't run DayZ from the banned account I'm good?
What if I have DayZ installed from the other account on my PC, but don't run it / launch from the banned account. Still all good? Or better not risk it and uninstall beforehand as well?

I might need to try this honestly. I got game banned and CF banned/tracked over a year or two ago from cheating. I took a year break from playing the game and decided to try playing legitimately again.

What I do, is contact the admins on Discord for the server I want to play and just be honest. So far, I've been accepted into Rearmed, Perception, and a smaller server called KillerZ. Ground Zero requires 3 years minimum from your bans (per one admin I spoke to).

This is getting quite frustrating getting denied, though. What is sad, is that it is the community preventing people like myself from playing again, not even DayZ because I can play official servers on my same IP. I made a dumb decision to cheat and now am permanently disabled from playing community servers until I go through all the steps OP has stated, even a year or two later.

There should seriously be an appeal process within the community or with CF directly for people like myself who will never cheat on this game again. At least a one-time "Get out of jail free" card. I'm not technically savvy enough to do any crazy computer changes nor am I financially in a position to continue buying accounts to see if what I did worked.

Since my ban, I've gotten a new computer. In theory, all that is left I need to do is get a new router and new Steam account with legitimate hours? Or what is left that I'd need to do in my case?

Hey I got Banned on rearmed Recently. Is there anything to do to bypass their systems, I have tried several things but none have worked, a in depth walkthrough or guide would be nice.

change both. even if it isnt traced, its always good to cover all bases so you can find out why u got banned more accurately. just dont buy a spoofer, thats too far.

admins have been lenient enough bro to let u play, ur just gonna have to wait for GZ. or maybe play for a while on ur allowed servers and then appeal citing that youve played other servers legit for a while. u got off pretty lucky that youre even allowed to play those servers again lol

I got banned earlier, on Rearmed, I moved in that time + got a new PC + new provider + new Steam account and still I get banned for “cheater alt”. I rebuilt my PC 2-3 weeks ago and bought a new Steam account 2 days ago. After 2 days I was banned again for “cheater old” what exactly can I do. I am overwhelmed.

I`m banned today on my steam i see that my ban is applied by the game developer, what does this ban mean, is it hardware also, what can i do to play again, on some community servers i m banned also and i wanna get again in to them but don`t know which steps i should do, anyone has a idea of this ban and fix this issue.

dont join with same discord in server reamerd..

I got a whole new pc used and have a dynamic router also used a temp spoofer. Join basically vanilla #2 which i was banned off of (because I guess I was added to rearmed ban list) and im instantly banned after sitting in que. Not sure what else I can do

basically vanilla became a little tougher over the last year/months but if you follow the guide you shouldnt have any issues.

did you log into the banned account on the new PC?

I am not joined with the same Discord, I have a 2nd Discord account, and the account was not banned and has a different name so it can't be the Discord account.

I don't know for sure. Some say it's not a problem because CFTools only links accounts when both accounts launch DayZ and join a community server with CFTools. Others say that Steam already associates the accounts when they log in from the same IP, which then gets reflected in CFTools.

Honestly, I find the first scenario more likely, but I don’t want to test it right now because I don’t feel like getting a new account, etc. in case something goes wrong.
