i know because a mod told me. he said carnival 2013 in darkorbit. just wait till tomorrow and see. he said the event will last 10 days. he is a mod for european servers
and my bad. i forgot about the darkorbit talk section XD

Get out your nicest beads and your prettiest carnival mask, cause it's time to mambo on down to the Mardi Gras! The parades will begin just after midnight on February 7th 2013 and roll to a stop on February 17th 2013 just before midnight. We got some nice in-game events for you that go just perfect with King Cake - Space Ball, Sector Control and Scoremaggedon, just to name a few. And don't forget your WIZ Rockets, 'cause Mardi Gras isn't always fun and games. The Disguisor is causin' a big stink in space and we need you to destroy it so it doesn't ruin the party! edit: Special boxes is coming 
A moderator in my server said that special boxes are coming, so be ready!
