People die and make excuses for being bad.
Easiest excuse is to make up a program that doesn't exist and can't even exist. Then people agree with you because they want an excuse for being bad too and losing to the same players who are just better at PvP

There was a "miss bug" about 4 years ago since new abilities to Pilot Profile came. But it was fixed in a while.
