I agree with You. I don't think it's dead, but as all markets are down and still going down, it's normal that crypto also is going down along with them.
Plus, there is a significant inflation issue in all countries. So yeah, we need time to recover things, not sure how much time we need tho.

In principle, you should move everything you can onto a ledger and secure it. The crashed "crypto banks" have partly done a lot of **** and misinvested a lot. But if you look at it that way, there weren't even a handful of such "banks" a few years ago.
In addition, some banks are also on the verge of bankruptcy if no second instance such as the state would intervene. Accordingly, one can see that stocks and also cryptos (can) collapse massively. In the long term, however, it should stabilize again.
