Well one way I know it would be possible, is since u gave him the user and pass, he could access that CO database (er, I wont explain what kind, or how to access it, so the n00bs dont go omfg plx tell me how to hax acoounts plx help).
Basically, since it is not that difficult, he could have editted the database directly. Either that or it is someone you know that already knew all that info, and decided to scam you.
