is for both read well it says if u have expres u must go trough some sertain steps if u dont u continue with the other steps..

i did it but all it did was give the source lots of error

i got it working using the 10.0.0.20 in the source and 127.0.0.1 in the server.dat and loged with 5180 client...so good luck everyone

i dont think it matters if u use app or the binaries mysgl coz i followed ur guide boom i got same error

the problem is that if you are in using 64 bits not 32 bits it wont work you will get those error you see so the best way to fix this is to restore your pc to 32 bits but its not recommended because 64 bits is better

... No need to re-install a different OS... all you need to do is build the project for 32 bit. 64 bit os can still run 32 bit programs no problem but C# by default is trying to build a 64 bit exe which then ***** up.

Follow the guide to convert to 32 bit (and if needed grab a 64 bit libey32.dll cause that won't auto convert). Very simple to do really...
