are u using LOTF based source? if so u need to use a loader.exe and put your conquer.exe as an exception on your antivirus or the conquer.exe will look like a virus on your antivirus program and will be blocked.

I do that but then it pulls it up again says its pretty serious and its already infected my comp i have the dumbest anti virus prog i miss my norton

Step 2: Click Tools
Step 3: Click advanced settings
Step 4: Click Resident Shield on the left nav
Step 5: Click Exceptions
Step 6: Click add Path
Step 7: Find your conquer 2.0 folder

should solve your problem. Then put in localplay

my conquer 2.0 folder? shud i put in that or the server folder and will this mess up cid proxy

better yet delete your conquer 2.0 folder, re-extract it, change your server.dat, then do what i said in last post, then put in your cid proxy. It should work that way. And no, it wont

my conquer 2.0 folder as in the game that i downloaded? put my cid into avg or wat? starting to loose me here :\

open ur conquer 2.0 folder. double click on server.dat click open with if u have to, remove the ip address there, and put in the person whos hostings ip address
