Hey, i wanna ask one more question ( i know its not going with this topic but...) - is it posible to change client version to 9999 if im playing normal - lets say orginal CO ( i mean not creating any private server), couse i want to stay at curently version of my original co version, and prevent further autopatching? So is it posible to change? and where to find that file, ty vm

Just change the version number. Version.dat is in your CO folder >.>

aww.. thats why, version.dat shows like a nero file lols... missed that..you see, im using V3n0M hack, so its for version 5007, but after co made it 5008, i cant find any gift bags anymore lol... i think thats all about this new version (but co add only background music in it ^^ ) could there be any other reason?

I have make an AutoPatch.exe that starts directly conquer.exe without auto-patching.

Copy my .exe to your Folder if u dont need AutoPatch more.

i have come so long so when i try to login it says connection irreputed and in the "console" it says Auth Packet: Auth Request
<- what to do?

Edit: got the server working only one prob left i hope! when i create character and press ok.. then i try login it says create new character... how to fix it?

line 317 error

hey guys im getting the 317 error and i reckon its the client, ive searched all over and cannot find the right client, if you can upload your working client that would help alot thanks in advance, i also have tried the guide to fix that 317 error and tried using a conquer 2.0 4348 client and also a 4351 client both coming up with the error and it just saying connection to server interupted, ports are set and firewalls are off. account in database set correct so im guessing its the client

read the thread, the fix has been posted more times than i care to remember

Also for all people receiving the 317/318 error:

Change your database type from 0 to 1, a noob error on mine and futures part,

make sure in your account table auth is set to 1

Changing the Auth to 1 and having a blank password try to log in again and now you should have the create char screen on the client

If you get

   at COServer.Start.Game_FirstDataArrived(Object sender, DataArgs e) in CoFuture_ReleaseServerStart.cs:line 317
and get to the create char screen of the client then what i think is happening is that it is connecting you to the game server without first making sure that there is a row in the character table (CharID) with the same accountid as in the account table. CharID == AccountID.... This will raise the exception but allow you to create the char.

After you successfully created the char you should be able to login and these error will not appear for that account/char

I hope this helps the thing to make sure is that Auth is 1 and password is blank

I Have had a bit of a look through this again and if you change this in start.cs

Assumming that Auth is set right in the account table you shouldnt see this error again.
Its caused when you are creating a new Character as Cli.Char does not exist yet

the start.cs IS ****** UP im sure of 99% thers an error ... u did bad mistake ... databses is keeping passwords and they r coded EG: 1AdsaDA32FA the database reads password u types in client eg:qwerty and the 1AdsaDA32FA is qwerty i think u forgot about it and it connects to the database with matching pasword qwerty to 1AdsaDA32FA But its not the same ... it have to read password then it have to go through the database n then connect thers also error on line 317 in start.cs well ... i can make it works but i wont post it here cause u need to learn what u did bad ... so please post it in here i mean (good start.cs) if u know how to do this cause i dont want to wasnt my time on rewriting code ...
