I Can´t Make Characters...
When I Finish character selection, i got logout of the server and I try to login again, and need to create a new char, and again
cant any1 help me fix the save char ?

im using C# 2008 and it has a problem building the solution.
Error 1 'Map' conflicts with the declaration 'COServer.Map' CoFuture_Release\Server\PacketHandler.cs 511 68 CoFuture
Error 2 A local variable named 'Map' cannot be declared in this scope because it would give a different meaning to 'Map', which is already used in a 'parent or current' scope to denote something else
CoFuture_Release\Server\PacketHandler.cs 521 64 CoFuture

tryed to fix it myself but i can understand it but not code complex algorithms.

Any help would be very useful. thanks

am going to try this but it should still compile in 2008
edit - had some time to look at this and fixed it but new error now when a user tryes to login for the first time i get this - System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at COServer.Start.Game_FirstDataArrived(Object sender, DataArgs e) in start.cs: line 317

you need to change auth to 1 to create char put auth on 2 to log on to that char.if you keep putting it back on 1 it will make you keep creating.

2008 is not compatible allot of people are having the same issue use 2005 it wont work others have tried 2008 gives to many errors.

i do not have the video on this pc the video is on a free web site you should be able to watch it. i will see if i can upload the video to another site.

did you check the auth? if its still not going to 2 ill see what i can do.

You can also use the server software above to make it just your temporary software untill you can get your MYSQL one up.

sam's is good but the problem there is if you have vista it wont work because same still has not fixed that error and i have no time or care to do it for him anymore. if there are people with vista it wont work. unfortunately because it is good to.
