Why not just use twitter or a facebook page? If people are interested in your server's development they'll check you page.

The entire point of a documentation thread is to document your progress as you develop your server, however you need to be extremely indepth in your documentation for it to actually have a point. For example in one of my documentation threads i go into great detail about working on a quadtree based entity positioning system and how i improved upon that over the course of the thread, i received feedback from members, and discussed its benefits over your typical entity positioning.
It is not a thread to state "I am working on Attacking. I have just finished NPCs" etc.
I think it will be a complete waste of your time, as your struggling to even understand it.

****, what he's saying is, you're struggling to even understand what a progress thread is for, means you cant code something big, so no reasons for you to create a progress thread really.
