I'm not even at the beginning, I wonder why the client has a four-digit number and whether it merges with a source even though the numbers are different? (answer this please or post me a thread for this...)

for example what is a client 5165 and what is a client 5075 where is the difference? does that have anything to do with the features? Thought the features are only in the sources? ( answer this pls )

I would suggest trying out pluralsight for learning purposes.

At beginning you won't need to host server official with money, you can host on your computer.

Hosting server is depends what kind of computer you need? 32Gb ram with high end gear will cost I guess 100$ a month...

You can download here In forum a source but those sources are corrupted you need first to be able to know programming basics like c# to fix problems "solo" without any help. We have here a forum but do not exept any help!!! That is called scamming!!! And people like spirited won't allow that. Haha

You are only welcome if you are a genius / expert / or master to support primal, supporting them coding or with donations... then you will be respected and they will contact you underground to give you new rules: stay secret, we want to stay nr.1 No one gets help exept us, coz we are scammer nr.1 ( they are not even nr. 3 xD)

And the next thing editing is (easy) you won't even need to be a scripter, programming new commands like /switch or another commands is (hard)

Learning coding is very quick if you know what you want to do, but you need to know what programs you need MySql, c# basics, patch and source and something like hamachi... I wish one tell me steps in order what I have to do. But as I told you no matter how close you getting in your first project, they will change the case "go support primal" they aren't interested to help anyone, they needed 10 years to understand what's the different of ball and egg... you think they will give you any information so far??? you have to learn your self this is not a social forum to get free help staff.

The problem is they won't help you find the right way they are happy if we give up so you can change your mind and be a good supporter slave for the Primal witch deserves the whole community support

We do support new people who are trying to learn. We generally do NOT support new people jumping in head first to try to host another mediocre server. This community supports good developers, and good students. So, to give you an idea, here is what you would need to do :

1. Be able to communicate in english/german (although your english is decent, so you got this!)
2. Study C#, even a damn Udemy course is better than just randomly tinkering with useless things that seem important at the time. It would also be advisable to learn some kind of database, MySQL, MSSQL, anything works really. Hell, there have been good servers hosted without any database, just storing files on the disk.
3. Download a source ideal for beginners (Redux, COPS), and experiment. Do minor changes, try to understand how things are implemented
4. Download a more basic source (or better yet, write your own!) and try to re-implement things. Look at other sources to see how it's done but DO NOT copy it!
5. Learn basic design patterns, then go back to your code and analyze where it could be cleaner
6. Rinse and repeat until you have something functional and more or less maintainable

If you did all of these, you are ready to take on server development. This will NOT happen in a day, a week, or even a month. Of course there are other things like hosting, planning the economy, building the community, etc., but the very basic requirement is to be able to develop the actual server, and all of the resources are available for you. Maybe not on the patch you would ideally choose, but the core information is there.

I am on the way to do...
I want to do as you adviced me. But for me is actually important for the start to find a way run a server for my self just for, editing npc, implating codes, as the people did before 2006... i just wanna get some exprince to see all inside to get better logic
I tried this thread but why the Server.dat is in other language i used notepad i see diffrent things as the people telling in the thread. What did i wrong wanna see a Screenshot of the Server.dat ?

I dont want to start with a little project ... snakegame or bullshit .... i want start little project hosting my own Server where i can Test arround till i can provide some great work than i make my own source on scratch and online private server and i would like to be here one of the porpulare devolper coz my Interesting for this game won't End. This game was a Part of my life and i want share the best game with all the community.

Then start out with a well documented source.



This is more than enough for you to play around with, if you need anything more I will assume that you just want to run a server for the public without the knowledge necessary.

Also that snakegame bullshit stuff is NECESSARY for you to learn the language. I am not going to continue this, you have everything you need from us, I never want to hear again that you didn't get support.

KraHen im very grateful to you... pro4never is an awesome guy great thread Npc, fastblade event, codes <3 that's so awesome just to see, why is pro4never banned? Or did he delete his self, doing another things? ( just interesting no need answer)

I just wanna say excuse me to all that I got fast frustrated, I have adhs sickness, my focus generally sucks and every failure ends in a hyper focus what hurts me unbelievable much.

To be clear, spirited I respect you very much you doing your job great and the noob questions are to many over the years I was not an isolated case. If you didnt Update permanent the resources who knows if this game would have still survived.

And to Exucution to be honest, your server is so well coded that it is already enviable, you are a role model for everyone who makes a server! I give you my probs!
If it's classic or as Qonquer it's a matter of taste, ultimately what counts it's well coded and i wish you a lot of support from all classic fans!
