[Question] Conquer Online Touch Source (Android/iOS)
My question is simple.
Is there any Conquer Online Touch source (Android/iOS) out there?
If not, any developer who have worked on one / anyone who has one?

Why? Developers aint seeing monetizing potentional in this, or maybe to much potentional to public share?
Can't find anything in here or on google regarding conquer touch sources, any active or finished private development you now off?

It's not difficult to do, and there are other ways of distributing unofficial APKs. There are means of reversing APKs and changing the mobile client's connection strings. In general, the android client uses very similar packets to the desktop client. The auth protocol is a bit different as it uses different packets, but all of this is possible. Step one would be having the mobile app connect to your server.

As said the issue is distributing the client.
There's no way you're going to keep your customized app online on google play or the ios store so there's no simple, user friendly way to get people to install your client.
With windows it's pretty easy cause there's a million clients and users are comfortable installing the client that you provide.

Well, let's test how "easy" it is on Android vs. PC. - Android: Set "Unknown Sources" in Android settings (use search box).
Windows: Set security mode to "developer mode" (use search box). Restart computer.
- Android: Download APK for modified client and run.
Windows: Download and decompress client using a downloaded decompression tool to a selected folder on disk.
- Android: Already running.
Windows: Add whitelisting rules to firewall and anti-viruses. Then run launcher.

90+ pct of mobile users are not comfortable installing anything outside of the App Store while on windows you can just create a windows installer for them to run
That's not to say it couldn't be profitable to do but I don't see trying to advertise a mobile only server to people and then requiring them to use a non App Store installer to play would be very difficult to do. I also don't see App users being as inclined to support the server because it's never going to be as competitive for pvp in mobile

Alright. - Android: Set "Unknown Sources" in Android settings (use search box).
Windows: Set security mode to "developer mode" (use search box). Restart computer.
- Android: Download APK for modified client and run.
Windows: Download EXE for modified client install.
- Android: Already running.

I mean, I already install Dolphin Emulator from their build system doing this. It's not hard. In addition, Amazon expects you to do this for their market for Android apps since they created one that goes against Google's guidelines (lol). I don't think it's unreasonable for people who want an Android client to do this.

I'm thinking from a marketing and monetization standpoint though.
Conquer is not well suited to mobile whales who will drop thousands on the game because the pvp is so click oriented that hardcore players won't care as much about a mobile version.
Advertising it for mobile will be harder than advertising for pc because the mobile players are much fewer than pc.
Installation process for pc is simpler and more straight forward for the average user.
As I've said though there is no reason someone couldn't do a Mobile or even web version of the game if they have the old Facebook client saved, it's just not the most efficient use of their effort I would argue

Why not both?
Mobile and desktop client that points to the same server.

Interesting..
I agree with spirited mostly, in my opinion if advertisement & developing is done properly a conquer touch server can succeed, co2 didnt do **** to advertise their android version of conquer touch and therefore its basicly dead, they dont even care about it anymore, if correct tq's last patch regarding android was about 2 years ago, it's like playing on a unpopular semi-classic server but on your mobile.
Conquer servers on pc are established already and therefore it's easyer to let interested people know that their is a new server or project coming up atleast that's what your first toughts would be, but dont forget that the competition is bigger aswell and you can basicly use the same ways of advertisement + extra when advertising a conquer touch server + all these private server interest's also have mobiles in their pocket.
From what i can understand, developers here havent tought of a conquer touch project yet so there probally arent any private sources yet, i hope i woke up some sleeping dogs regarding this subject, a conquer touch server could deff be monetizing, take that advice from a digital marketing specialist who earns $100 - $300 /24 hours from online income only.
@ Cross platform is indeed the best way to go without doubts altough i'm not sure if this is possible regarding conquer online but i have seen this with browser based mmorpg's who made an android & ios version of their game hosting the browser version within a web app basicly.
If there are people interested talking further in private regarding this subject then don't hesitate skyping me at live:moneyspecials

Can anyone help me on some of the good source
out there?.
I used PowerSource CO, but its not really good. So much needed to be
coded. Or someone is willing to help me and my buddie,
to code somethings, to make things work.
Eg. Our /item command does not work, trust me it doesn't.
So if theres anyone out there that is willing to help.
