Yes but if I use a plaintext server.dat I get the same result if I was to use a freshly encrypyed one. (Although I did tweak it more then usual and that only leads to oyher problems) required to hold groups or whole thing drops like in the pic posted above....
Speaking from experience as well, I am certainly no beginer, And reverse engineering is fun for me. However with discouraging dicks like SuperAids, It stunts the growth a little. (But trolls are trolls and benefit no one, even himself)
I have literally been scouring every .dat and .npc file (as things like vip was handled by a Npc id) possible and searched nearly all the .sln and cannot find anything in relation to the following SystemMsgPopUp PopUp, HellMouth, Voted (in respect of SystemMsgPopUp) and its just been a pain in the ass.....
As for replace xxxx with yyyy type guides, I did find one. But the address of the particular memory edits were wrong. Assembly is a littlw difficult to comprehend. Not saying I cant do it.
And spirited, why you ask. Because despite what you believe, I would like to make a popular isometric style game that isnt conquer. Because we all know they failed.... thats a given....
And to superaids AND spirited. You both know as well as I do that coding is not easy to adapt, ESPECIALLY when you go from html straight into the VS pot without anyone assisting you.
If your not offering some god damn help, I will quote super aids unnecessary comment from the beginning to both of you now because its got to the point where it is required as you just don't seem to understand my logic.
Fuck off

If you don't have that knowledge, spend the next few weeks/months working on it, or hire someone who already has it. Personally I'm useless at reverse engineering so I always hire that sort of work out. I'm simply speaking from experience with what methods I've used before or have hired others to use.
The simplest if you dont care about people editing server.dat (not a real security concern anyways) is to simply bypass the decryption routine in the client to load the plaintext server.dat. Pretty sure there's dozens of copies of the newer server.dat format to use if you're unable to decrypt the original file.

When you say assembly, Ollydbg yea? Because that is one of my biggest downfalls atm..... memory edits are a pain

Any undetected 5517 loader, if it is a stand alone exe, I will need help with it. If it's just an undetectable conquer loader would be even better.
Microsoft:
Updated win defender after 3 weeks 17 employees 10 hours on the phone and one thin line of patience...... still detects as false positive
Almost lost the plot lol
Oh and one last comment to spirited, if you knew nothing at all and I told you to encrpyt a server.dat file, Would you have done much different then to generate a standard ssh rsa keygen to attach? I dont believe so! "So just fucking relax aye"
I understand it is an unusual concept to rewrite a game written in the 90s, but im running 20gb ssd with 15gb free after a fresh format. What else do you suppose I do? The web design business has been sold to death....
