New Conquer Server Project [Java]
Here Hybris, Project CoLeader from CoEurope team if you guys remember the old staff
Wishing to build a new source code for a Conquer Private Server, but in Java this time and all brand new ^^
Need to find one or two coders that knows Java very well and who can understand UML Diagrams that i'll make. I'll help coding (much) and giving infos.
Need an expert in Socket connections ^^ and someone who can use a little Sniffer with some decryption and disassembling knowledge Well a bit of everything as you see
If anyone is interested, send me a PM and try to show me how good you guys are :P since i'm gonna get a LOT of answers from a LOT of newbies who don't even know what "java.lang" is
Hybris
PS : If you don't code VERY regulary and have only a few knowledge in coding and Java ; don't even try PMing me !
Additional Informations :
These coders will have to know how to make Javadocs, JUnit tests and follow Java Rules like naming conventions !
Progression :
Class coding : 10%

I have no experience in Java, but I know how to language works and would probably get me a few days to get used to it, then it can move smootly. PM me if you need me.

@EmmeTheCoder : I need guys who have a very high experience in Java programming. I can myself make around 90% of the work, but alone it'd take me a long while And I know someone that doesn't know Java very well won't be usefull at all. I'll take more time explaining basic things than really getting help. Sorry.
@InfamousNoone : Thanks, btw I need more time than luck

Just as a tip (even if I know why you're willing to learn C# ), go on more "general" languages like C++ or Java or even Python, C# is too Windows oriented :P
Btw, Java isn't really a "hard" language to learn, it's quite more with its subtilities :P
C++ is harder to learn at first, but not hiding anything

C# and Java are close and very different too
Java hasn't the same way to work. And it's not a fully compiled language.
Semi-interpreted
That's why it can "work" on nearly every kind of Operating System (with the same source code) without even Pre-processing Variables.
But that Semi-interpretation has some other bad points Well I could make a book on all the differences between a language and another (by the way there are many xD).

^^ not pro yet, still a student but coding in C, C++, C# and Basic since a long while. Learned Python, ASM and Java last year, but was already interested in Java a long while ago, especially since it's a fully Object-Oriented Language.

Ew.
Java.
If you need help with the non-java part of it, ask me.

Which "non-java" ?
The project will be entirely coded in Java, we'll just make sure it'll be able to communicate with a bit of every possible kind of structures around it (websites, databases, files, human-actions, etc...) but we won't code these structures (maybe just for test purposes but that will be very simple and basic).

Introduction
Hello, most of you probably don't know me and look at my profile and see me as a noob. Although im not too active on these forums, if you look closely you will see that I have been here for more than four years. Ive seen shit go down and even though im sure alot has changed, I know how things work here.
Before I say any more I would like to say that I am a programmer and am fluent in C/C++, C#, VB, PHP, and Javascript(jQuery) as well as shell languages like Linux/Unix.
