[Request]A Teacher

i would like to persue C# using ini, i no longer would like to use lotf, and i am looking for someone who would help me learn by giving lessions or teaching me with TeamViewer, because im more of a hands on learner, then a reading text 1.

I'm probably the most qualified of those who posted so far, so you can go ahead and ask me, although my teamviewer has expired so either someone help me fix that or we'll do it some other way.

I thought Team viewer was free now without limitation for non-commercial use. I might be wrong tho I haven't used it in awhile.

Yeah i believe my team viewer is free. And @ Hoven, i can say the Emme has been a big help to me when i was at my wits end (a BUNCH of times). You'd be wise to take help from anyone who is offering (Thnx Emme!!!!). Pce.

I would have to agree with Unknownone Using INI files is a waste of time . The only person who would manage INI files system to match the capabilities as MySQL or any other type of database would be Hybrid and i as long as i known hybrid he is not one to teach people.

He may help, but not too much, and he released the source, not to help others, just because LOTF was leading(still it may be) and its was and is an worthless ****.

yeah he doesnt teach much but like damienpiesta( sorry if i spelled wrong) said he does help me alot

Saint doesn't see why people keep forcing mysql at people.

Hybrid's system doesn't come anywhere close to the capabilities of MySQL, but from what I gather - he has developed a system specific to his requirements, that does the job he needs it to. He would save an awful lot of time doing things differently though.

But as for being qualified - Hybrid is more qualified than most on this forum to teach (about C#). Even though he uses ini files himself, he is aware of their unsuitability and I doubt he would convince anyone else to use them. As for teaching about proper database design or SQL, well, he probably needs some experience of his own there.

Nobody mentioned MySQL.
You obviously don't understand the advantages of using a database engine.
You probably don't quite realise how bad using ini files for such a system is either.
