hi, i hope this was where i was supposed to post this.. but anyways, i logged on today.. and the effects remover doesnt seem to be working anymore, and i double clicked it in the directory.. yet still isnt working.. is there a new one that i can dl that someone can give me or send me a link to it? ty.

make a backup file with effect files and just delete the effects folder

Who's effects remover are you using?
There's more than one out there.

Also there was a new 3DEffects.ini file in patch 4339.

So if you had effects turned off when you got the autopatch
it would have over written the 0kb file that most of the removers use. Program might just be switching bewteen the patch 4331 3DEffects.ini 422kb file and the patch 4339 3DEffects.ini 423.ini file now.

I had to re-make one of the 2 copies my method uses since a new file was distributed, but it took only a matter of seconds and works great. Just an automated copy/paste with ms-dos batch files. DIY guide in my sig. ^^
