Kinda new to all this stuff but i used the zip file in quote 12 and extracted it to the c/prog files/co2/data/minimap and nothing happened i restarted my comp and opened the game but my mini map is unchanged is there a step that im missing or something im not clicking????

ok i dont know where i am supposed to put this map. it says to put it in the specific location, but there arent maps there. thus, it isnt replacing anything. what do i do with the file? is it because my version is too new? if so, where can i get older one then just autopatch?

Just stick it in the minimap folder, it doesnt matter if there is a task10.jpeg there or not. It will pick it up.

Ok listen I have done everything right and i can even see the map in the minimap folder but the game does not pick it up!!!!!!!

I bet I know your problem! Go back to the 1st post of this topic and download the task10.zip and put the file from the zip in there. I bet you right-clicked then save as. If you did that then you have a .jpg extension which is incorrect. It needs to be .jpeg. So go ahead and do that and bam, you got it.

I must be a noob but i dont see a zip file to download in the first or second post what i did use was the one in post 12 and it didnt work. i also went into the folder and changed the name of the file to .jpeg and its just not working. i do see the pic of the met map in the minimap folder but the game is not picking it up!! Is there someone with enough patience to help me through this. I did all of this withot the game running and even tried restarting the comp. I do use the cotobo miner though if that makes any diff.

i've tried what he said 4 times and still not working..i see it in the data/minimap folder but doesn't work in metzone for me either

thx, it works for me coz i rename it to both .jpg and .jpeg .. 2 files

now i can spam met like crazy XD
