sry about that worm trogen thing it's a mcafee's false alert i looked into it. It works great!

Suggestions:
add socket weapons as well. When i go to lab i like to pick up lvl 5 & lvl 10 2 soc stuff.
Yellow is a good color, it alerts you. If you can't see the text then just pick it up (it's gonna be something you want anyways) and look at it in your inventory.

But please do make it BIGGER and BIGGER. I still miss it a lot of times. It'd be nice to make them sound like mets when they drop so i know i'm looking for something...

@yokoyoko don't say only sry please edit your post so that others can't misunderstand the post. And socs can't be shown it's the same as +'s or blessed items(-%). I want to learn how the sound works so i probably can make a sound for the items but could need help with it. In one of my next updates i will implement pictures that are transparent and have a bigger cross so you can see the items much better.

The ani file naturally opens with notepad. all of the ani/ini/dat files in the CO folders work the same way, but some are encrypted. This one is one of the few that isnt.

The sounds for CO are embedded in the programming. It cannot be changed for the ref/uni/elite/super items without it affecting all items dropped.

Also, would it be possible to make the yellow color background transparent? I would think seeing a huge R/U/E/S or some huge gems would catch the attention of someone, and the background would not be needed, if the image was sized right.

My program allow you only to edit one file at a time.

it works great. is there any way that you can edit it to remove gold and potions? if no normals showing removes alot of my lag nothing on the ground would prolly totally remove it completly

That is my first release of my own AniEdit. It is simple to use and show only real special items(quest items like aweto still looks as always).

With this program special items on the ground looks like that:

What you have to do? Not very much!You don't have to make a backup
because the program makes one for you(in yourCOfolder/ani/MapItemIconBackup)!

1. Download the program
2. Start it with a double click
3. Select your MapItemIcon.ani(yourCOfolderani<-you will find it here):
Step 3 will be skipped if you have CO in the default folder(C:Program FilesConquer 2.0)



4.Select which items you want to be shown specially:



5.Press Start editing
If the program has finished you will see this:



Press ok and restart CO and hunt for special items or drop one to see what happen(be careful that no one steal your items!). From now on you will see every quality item on the ground[if it is in your screen and if you keep it updated].

Tip: In BI the archers let many quality items lay on the ground.

Important:
-The MapItemIcon.ani/mapitemicon.ani must be exactly written like that otherwise the program won't make an Backup.
-New patches can overwrite your MapItemIcon so you have to check after every patch if it is still working(for example drop a quality item). If it don't work just run my little program again(won't need long).

If you want other pictures then mine make some pictures or dds files and post them here or send them to me.

Updated it to version 1.1 Now you can edit gems too.
I will work on my program so that it can hides the normal items and show Mets/Dbs. I think I will implement some other functions in it but let you surprise. Or do you have some ideas? Post them here!

I would really like it if you added meteors and dragonballz to this mix. I want the mets and dragon balls added because I hunt at birds alot, and most of the time meteors are dropping, I never see them because of all the things going on. So I would like it if you added mets/dbz to the ani viewer thing. Thanks..!
