He just explained how you can`t make one met dove smaller than the other.. Co only uses one Monster ID, even though there are two. Look at his screeny, see how he does lower damage to the one met dove than all the rest? That one's the real met dove. But it`s the same as all of the others.. it doesn`t work.

whats so the one that he does 263 dmg to is the real met dove and will drop met(s)? i dont get it.

The one he does less damage on will drop 5mets if i remember correct, and the ones he does more damage on has a chanse to drop one meteor

Correct,
The 5-met met-dove will also deal more attach damage to you rather than the normal met-doves.

... why is this thread still open? This has been tested over a year ago and it's still the exact same. They patched it. You modify the zoom or anything of one of the metdoves in the monster.dat, they both change. so you can't edit to find the real met doves. -.- close please.

Now im not a programmer or nething, hence it's posted in this section, BUT, could someone possibly change the size of the other birds in mz? like make them smaller and then the met dove would still look bigger, or are they all server side? Ok here is a unfinished map i did myself no extra marks just red dots to show where i have found met doves if there are some i dont have marked leave me the cords in a comment and i will add them after i confirm they are there i appreciate the extra help and sorry for any i missed but i will update the map when i find more

Back when you could distinguish meteor doves from treasure birds just by looking at their names, i got a file off this website that made the met doves huge and easy to spot. Now that they are all meteor doves, it won't work anymore. Has anyone created a new file that can somehow distinguish the real met doves from the fake ones? ...or anything similary to what i'm asking about would be nice :)
