Doing this type or web radar with a non-DMA external/internal adds detection vectors that I'm sure any anti-cheat COD or above would eventually use to issue bans if it became known/popular
Me offering it with DMA wasn't me saying "this is only possible with DMA". It's possible with any cheat. It's just not as secure as offering it with DMA because everything is happening on a second PC with DMA making the radar sharing itself undetectable. This also makes the friends you share the radar with more secure because the game doesn't realize you're sharing a radar

For functionality it certainly doesn't matter you're correct. The only difference that should be known is that for security it does matter
