Yup Paradox was the **** back in the day i still remember it ... if someone remakes it i'd play the **** out of it even if its ep2 server... beast cabal has changed their exp somehow without bb+ you cant reset too easy i had wiz 500+ rr and still it was hard for me last time i played =) if you find server like paradox post it ... or even better someone make one

Okay, so... as I was playing a bit in paradox and some people replying in this thread DO NOT actually have an idea what most of the people have in mind when saying "PvP or High Rates", I will expand:

The rates of the server:

2000x EXP
1500x Skill EXP
300x Pet EXP
300x Craft
50x Alz
4x Alz Bomb Rate
250x Drop Rate
2500x AXP
5x WEXP
Item Drop: 2 - 3 items / mob
[As an example taken of MMO PARADOX]

BUT NOW, the rates does not make the server high rate if there is still crappy 7 AMP items in it...

The monsters, the hardcore channel, which, even with your OP gear of 28% per item you get one-shotted. The set effects, the defense of the items and so on, so on.. (Set effects, I mean something that gives as minimum as 1-5k HP + tons of other stuff ; Defense starts from 200+ and goes all the way to 10-50k per item and items are HARD AS F$£# to loot!)

Please correct me if I am wrong.

P.S. There is no so called "balance" in these type of servers

About item drops and its % i agree fully with you. You cannot fully know if server is real "high rate" or fake "high rate" before spending some time on that server and getting along with it. That is why i suggested this guy to try out our server since we are building high rate server and atm. it has a lot of contents which are related to that matter.

tried playing for a whole day, wont keep wasting my time in it
its not even near what a high rate server its supossed to be.
in a H-rate you dont waste time on gd certificate quests (i actually laughed at this one), you login to farm alz/items/honor and have some pvp and etc
and its lacking a lot of skills and features that make a high-rate server nice like
overbuffs, hardcore channels, overcraft and amazing drops from start to finish.
so i'm pretty sure you havent played one, go look at cabal.ws they're online with old database util they wipe, learn a little.

The point about quests, that happens only if its PURE pvp server and PVE is lost which isn't our goal and will never be. Game has 2 parts PVP and PVE. And it is high rate server but seems you do actually not realize that at all....

its between mid and high it is not high and i had to wait 3 waves on eod frozen ladies and sod 3 entries for naga warriors for CR ... at its state the server is not remotely fun Evilempire ... start lvl100 no cr 11 quest items drop 1 from 2/3 mobs

Tnx again for ur feedback, but that thing on what you telling is funny because that way game quests and others parts are forgotten. All this is still part in our server and you can complete everything in just one day. So if one day is too much for you to do that and then farm awesome items that can drop let it be. Also if paradox was that good as you are saying why was it closed? Same as WS was.

every cabal server has an expiration date, donates will eventually stop, people will reach end game and etc,devs and adms have other goals in life than keep a server on for years, so we are not just trashing your server for no reason, we are giving you tips on how to make a amazing server when there are none, accepting criticism and improving based on its better then getting personaly offended.

I accept criticism but seems that you won't accept it. In that case why don't you spend fewer less hours in front of PC and playing games and go on forums to see steps on how to create own server. Since you have big "plans" show to everyone that they are wrong and make something rather then just telling. Words won't change anything acts will but i am not sure if you are on that high level yet. Each server owner was player as you are now so if they managed to learn new things to open their own server you can too but i highly doubt that you will be the one that will do that in this case coz it is way easier to just spread empty words. Take care and accept this as criticism.

yo thats what u call a high rate server? xDDD 38% amp items now thats what i call a high rate server and like oblivion had those 1500 attack runes and custom items with more attack and def that is what i call high rate or a rebirth server should do it aswell so stop posting here your medium-low rate servers...
