Internet Explorer: The End

Lately, while Windows 10 is being discussed by Microsoft, there were a few hints about IE coming to an end, even though, nothing was official and everything was based on assumptions. These signs started to look more serious once Microsoft announced their new project - 'Spartan', the new web browser that is supposed to come with the Windows 10 version replacing IE. However, the old browser will still be available as some applications designed especially for IE will not work on the new browser that is supposed to come this summer along with the new windows version.
The new browser's name is not decided yet, the company has been researching names with a survey among Chrome users, the statistics showed that they would like to see "Microsoft" in the new name. Spartan is built from scratch and not using Internet Explorer's code, this would probably cause some problems for software and applications coded to run on IE and could take some years to completely rebuild the whole stuff again, this is why they are keeping IE alive.
What do you think about that new browser?, do you expect it to be any better than IE?
