and i am not rly sure if it is used at all
its there in client but mby not used, but i cant test right now so i dont wanna tell facts, just a theory

Let assume for a second that the game does indeed sends that file’s hash. HOW would they ban you based on that? The file hash can be different for the same build on two different installations. The purpose of it is differentiate files locally against updates, to determine a specific file’s integrity locally, not the whole game’s integrity and not in the cloud.
