I'm currently helping ShijiGames with some development, but RHEL is my last hope which is currently being downloaded as well. I probably won't find time to help tonight, but I will try again tomorrow.

Yes ShijieGames has both Boi and WOI files.. I'm personally working on these released files as well, just like you guys. I want to help get them running, but I'm afraid I can't do that tonight because of work I have to do for ShijieGames BOI-Server.

I'll help again tomororw.

finally we know "how to" with Fedora, i will try, so mm in 1 o 2 hours i think i will know if i can make it up

catala download the files extract them and see you can figure out a way to fix logsrver executable

there have to be any way to execute logsrv .Nameserver,cardserver,dataserver are affiliates with MySql but idk if with linux or with windows, i have fixed , authagent, u have to edit "run".exe and edit java directory writted in, after that go alll config files and put 127.0.0.1 to run it in local, if u can do that and create db with accounts, u can go to online mode, good luck

As for the LogSRV is not in any way connected to the database besides logging anything, the only thing that touch the MySQL database are Name Server, Card Server, Database Server, Authd(MSSQL)

It generally run's on 3-4 machines but you should be able to run it in a sandbox (vm) in windows. Use RHEL or any flavour of the same base. IE CENTOS, FEDORA etc.

I need more info please, i ran Fedora 17, but no way to run logsrv, btw i installed mysql server but idk what to do after that, i have all windows executables, configs and files edited and perfectly running, but need to finish the rest, if you can pm me with some info or let us instructios to do that would be relly great

Im a little tired 05:00 AM and no way to do the DB with Fedora, im downloading CentOs, so i think tomorrow(tday at morning) ill can do "something" but i need help of someone that can help me with programming at linux(CentOs) creating DB of DBserver,Cardserver,Nameserver and Auth(MSSQL) , and showing me how to, after that ill make a video showing how we did it.Bless

I've stopped at same step as LeRaz0r ... Can see server online with white fonts (status online - great) ...



About databases - most probably we need to install JBDC (JavaDB) drivers under MSSQL 2000, there are many queries for JavaDB aswell as MSSQL query for this driver, yet idk how to "bite" it ... Files are in two parts, game/connection - running under windows and databases running under linux thats all I got so far

Auagend need to be run through .bat file inside folder, it's connected with java platform aswell. It's confusing ^^ Hope that anyone can provide soon some info's about setting up databases and running DB programs.
