it says Archlord.exe wrong Version but rest is ok - Why?
and then i can only start 2 clients (better then only one - but with the last one i could make 3-4) for some reason, if i open third, second one is closing...
any ideas?
Got Win7 pro 64bit
Hi Ace, i just quote myself on this one. Any ideas? News? Updates?
Hi,

hello the question i ask myself is the why...
why isnt it working without the patch on my windows 7 64bit. (6GB RAM)
but its working fine without the patch on my vista 32 bit.
ofc i am talking about browser with regular way to open multi clients...
what i get on the w7 is : game is currently running (even if i open another bowser, ex: mozilla and after 1log in i open IE 8).
i get also the "the game is currently running" on my vista BUT only when i stay on same account maybe there is a link between the vista 32 and w7 64?
and btw nice work ace with the patcher even tho i dont have it yet...

Hi,
i think its because gameguard ... on the most 32bit systems the gg hides the alefclient.exe from running processes so if the gamestarter enumerates the processes it wont see the running alefclient.exe and let you start a second one. On 64 bit the gg cant hide the process so easy and the gamestarter see the running client. This is why i created the patcher.
The reason why i asked this, is because i would like to find the way to make it work without patcher, i prefer to try to find the solution "myself" with help of other people rather than just use something made by some1 else, i dont like to be depending on some 1 else
thats what i did with the ini files for realm drops, with decrypt thing i made the changes myself,
but for now i will have to wait till my w7 is back from store...
Anyway i hope i can count on some help if i cant make it work myself

hi,
the only way that you can use is to hide the alefclient.exe from running processes but you need to code something for this.
