@  Nops mate, the server will be 300% xp and drop. And, if necessary (ppl cry a lot), he will increase it step by step (or maybe not). The server shows 1000x xp and drop (but it's just a screen bug).
People always ask for a hardcore and fair server... They got it in classic, more stable than ever and they still complain... Probably because they prefer more content. Anyway, they are lazy as ****

50% of classic server quit before level 70, even though the server was booming and lots of people played. So let's not pretend that "lack of content" is the only reason why there's less and less players there.
You wanted hardcore, you couldn't handle hardcore. Those who feel spoken to when I say that already prove I'm right. The effort needed in order to be competitive was simply too much compared to Justac. Now it's 200% xp and 400% drop on classic and it's still not appealing to players.
Most people on classic did it at 100% rates. I'm busy as **** and still made 99. Easy peasy lemon squeezy for people who know their way around this game.. In cm it took me years, now it took me months. For new people it'd be 2 months or less, tops.
Make as many pservers as you like, I know this community's behaviour too well to seriously invest in a low rate server (again) only to be left behind with 20 other people (again).

Yea, i agree with you vold...
I Let an archer lvl 96 with a lot of thing to do in real life and was easy even with the normal server status.
But with current situation... ****, i don't even have fun at siege

Okay so I got really really bored and decided to start to work on this. It will be a 4267 emulator developed using C++ with boost, and other libraries as well. My aim will be to use as much 3rd party as possible, and minimize the workload. It will probably never get past logging in, since I only have a really minimal amount of time, but if anyone would like to check the progress, see the code, or maybe learn something, I am providing all of the code at this link.

Heute wurde ich etwas Nostalgisch und habe mir die älteren Versionen von WoW angeguckt. Die Standard Clients wie 1.12.1, 2.4.3, 3.3.5a finden man wie Sand am Meer. Ich finde es Schade dass der Rest keine Beachtung mehr findet. Ich hab mich sehr für den 1.1.0 Client Interessiert, habe dafür leider keinen Full Client Download gefunden. Nach etwas suche hab ich den 1.1.2 Client Installer gefunden, eine passenden emu leider nur zu 1.2.3. Beides war relativ schwer...
