well tbh its the 150% xp that will be the balancing factor for quite a while. That along with the unique drop rate + content will determine just how balanced things are starting off.
example: if scions are avail immediately and unique drop is low, all know what archer do, a guy with alot of money to spend on the first 2 shutas dropped and the first kark and add that to 6/8 scion bow from opening about 100 boxes (which isnt too hard) and let the crying begin lol. Im adding the bow but to be honest the uniques alone are enough on that archer low lvl kit/skills.
If the drop is very low, this will start what happened on classicAL which got alot of people unhappy (trust me on this one!) the few weeks + $$$ CC for
MAYBE 1 unique is not a way to go.
solution here would be to have the unique rate higher so at least all can drop them in a consistent way to help balancing and player moral. If you handle it that way you wont run into the example stated above as to which some of the people are worried about balancing so much. In no way do i mean boost it to justac lvl, 500% should cover this well, at that rate im thinking ANYONE who spends 10 hours of grind will have at least 1 unique, and thats fair.

Low Xp + Low Drop = Unhappy people who are playing lots of hours with no reward multiple days and perhaps months even. The people who are lucky however are selling for paypal for 100 euro and there is only prob 3 people in the server who is going to buy it for that amount. Please keep the game off paypal as much as possible, having the normal uniques more accessible makes them able to buy for scrolls if one must buy.
Low XP + Higher Drop (500%) = Happy people, who in the case of those who wanted higher xp rates are not even that mad because at least as they play they are accomplishing something by obtaining some wanted items and pvp fun through their journey of slower lvling. Also not to mention the added help to actual leveling uniques add (better buffs/skills etc) that the person who wants high xp will really be unhappy about if its hard as hell and he have no lvls OR uniques.
High XP + Low Drop = This would make for a weird situation/experience where people are trying to struggling to stay low lvl to farm and most times are lvling too fast to even complete the gear needed to enter the next portion of the game lol, creating hh gear wasnt easy even on justac at first. This game designed to take time actually.
High XP + High Drop = this is justac, why even go there.
