I might be interested in, but I just don't understand one thing.
How your emulator is different than anything we had the occasion to test untill now, technicaly speaking, in terms of private server?

Good question. To put it simply, excluding servers like justac, 173ac, all episode 1 servers were using original leaked files whereas I am using my own software.

With other servers, when you wanted to fix something or wanted to support a higher episode, you basically couldn't since you didn't have the source code. In my case, if something on server is broken, I can detect and fix that easily. I got a huge flexibility with stuff that I can do as well. It pretty much boils down to if you can change how server behaves or not.

Guys, why are you so against marvel scrolls? I rly liked them when they came on webzen. I mean, @

said, there will be 150% exp/drop/rare drop at start of server and later maybe more (i rly hope there will be xp/drop boost on weeks like on cm), and when you have such "normal" rates there wont be a lot of refined uniques. And not only people who have money will be op from start. The most easiest thing is to lv up/farm if you have money to spend on AL to buy realms/uniques. I know some people who spent over 300$ on uniques on justac. In my playing time of AL (since ep2) all i spent in this game was 10$ when classic AL started. And thats it. In last case, if you don't like osiys serv, you are free to leave this topic. I'll be one of 1st people who will be downloading his private serv. As i know a lot of other people will download it too. He worked 5-6 months for his serv, and he rly dont need people like marooco to tell him how he will make his server. Once again, gj osiy

Played every AL pserver which appeared, as long as they were a) not hosted with hamachi or such shit, or b) not in english (173,138).

I really had it with archlord, it's still one of my favorite game. But i and probably alot other al veterans won't spent any more cent in any archlord content neither lvl centuries to max lvl.

True m8..but i like cf/bg stuff. But i am against max lv120 and hh stuff. I think hh skills and uniques just fcked up balance more than any other thing did. In my opinion (as i would like it is) the best thing would be to make server with max lv99, keep rates at max 200% exp/drop/rare drop and make weekend boosts like 100-200% more etc, add ONLY cf, bg and maybe bs, keep refined uniques like int/bril/glo/exc (but not like on justac that if u combine 3 different u get fail or 0/3. Possibility of getting etc exc 0/1, 0/2, 0/3) and maybe after some time add shrine/abs with changed stats. Slightly better than cf and normal realms. But if osiy wants his serv to be pure ep8, who am i to dissagree with him? I'll still play serv even if there will be hh and max lv120 content..

Exactly i agree with you 100 percent.

There is NO point making a server if you dont have a plan for it, all bugs fixed, all things balanced, have differences with justac, not be like shitzen, and last, it doesnt matter if you work 7 months or 14 years on a project if you dont know what makes the game good, look at so many games like Evolve develeped with a full team for 5 years and it went **** in 1 month, same for the division and others.

So im kinda worried how it will go. I got alot old veteran al players still on skype which would play any AL server appearing. But i haven't contacted any of those after justac released. And probably won't tell them about osiys server too since i really don't like to support any content i don't like. Apart from who is hosting/creating it. I prevented alot people from joining al universe and it worked. Server got shut down. No1 played anymore, not just because of me but the admin is completly retarded and has no idea about the Game at all - telling by his wife his highest character was a lv 96 knight on justac... do i need to say more? And this person tried to create an al server. He argued with me that "Infection" was no aoe...I even worked somehow towards him - made an entire list of bugs i found on his server. And he ignored it since he wanted to create new content rather than fixing bugs..What a failure. Both al universe were hosted by the same guy/crew.
All of them blow Ass speaking of fixing bugs and knowing about the Game.
Im no developer myself but im one of the most experienced players in Archlord and that counts for me most. If you don't have any plan about the game it will pretty much end like justac.

No,no, no, I'm against hh uniques too ^^ sry my english isnt the best haha. But in my opinion, ep 4-5 where there was only max lv99, bg, cf and int/glo/bril uniques (no hh ones :P) was the best ep we had

I repeatedly said my main reason for opening a server is to test technical capabilities of the emulator and detect/fix technical issues. I never said it'll be the 'best' server right off the bat. Those who're brave enough to participate, I appreciate it a lot. But I'm not and can't force anyone to do so.

I never had the time to make plans or try to balance 'classes'. I barely could get things to this point devoting all my time into it. You might think, 'Oh man, this guy copy pasted some stuff, got lucky and bam. Everything worked somehow.' but you are wrong. Some of you guys know programming right? int main(){return 0;} That's where I started from. Every single activity that can happen in game which interests server, I added by hand.

Who would you depend on with helping you? People who forced their way into helping you without you even asking for it or people you just met?

Ofcourse. As far as skills goes, anything is possible.
