Can't tell if you're joking or not..
If you're not.. Go ask Burlex over at Ascent about how 'quick & easy' a wow emulator is before talking about stuff you obviously know nothing of..

hey i know my reply is way late but it took a long time to read all the replies. anyway i think arch lord is a good game the way it is , and ive played a lot of good game,s but what i always wanted was to play a fuckin awesome game so id like to lend you my suggestions cause the private server project seems to be a lot more interested in making archlordz better than CM does. here we go
1) AH items , you have to relist if it has been up for a week
2) critical attacks should affect skills..not all (like aoe) only things like blade sting or triple slash etc
3) reinforcement potions, you could expand and have different degrees of pot like maybe one that gives +2 or +3 if success instead of just one (wouldnt that be expensive..)
4) all prayer stones IMHO you should be able to put at least 2 spots i.e. life stone in pants and armor, or something for gloves,boots,etc. speed stones, crit rate stones, stat stones, could be added too..
5) higher level stones such as lvl 3 phys resist have a better chance to succeed than lvl 1 or 2, and 2 is better chance than one, not a huge mark up but i mean if you can actually afford lvl 3 stones you should at least be able to put them in something
6) lower chance of totally resetting a reinforced item and add a chance to just downgrade one or two levels
7) if you sell something thats +2 or has stones or is broken it should have an altered value
8) an idea many may not like but , to me, makes the game more fun for people with slow connections like me, is making XP all a lot higher and making monsters stronger..maybe alter some skills instead of just a ton of AoEs and not a lot else, to reduce training. i mean i like trains too but i will *always* die at some point because the computer will lag me down and then, full hps to zero xD
9) increase dungeon XP (what??) you heard me. well leave the first level alone, and then add higher aggro mobs that attack any one who goes near the lower lvl portals, mobs which are very difficult, so if you want hot XP lower down u have to either fight or sneak past..
10) TRAPS. EVERYWHERE. ALL THE TIME. and ones that will fuck you up!
11) make poison damage not suck!
12) make shield attack prayer stones disappear! or better! or both !!
13) variety of monsters..and what i mean is, whether lvl 3 or lvl 29 bats are still bats, skeletons are skeletons, etc. all bats are the same except for hps and xps,drops. how about poison bats or something, or disease, bats with fire damage. vampire bats can leech health from you.. and not just bats. skel mages could be beefed with cold fire light etc dmg not just one kind always. thieves steal your gold if they kill you..
14) i was toying with the idea of, if you die maybe you can at least cut XP death penalty in half or eliminate if you pay a level-based amount of gold instead, i.e. maybe at lvl 20 you die and only lose 1%,but costs 50k, but at lvl 60 it would be like, a million. or maybe not THAT much but you know..
anyways great work on everything Mal, loved the cooldown hack video , cant wait for private server =P

ps i guess shield attack stones could be cool if it reflected like, 4%, 6%, 8% damage..and higher success, rather than just ....2 damage.

With how much persons are you making this.. and what are the spec's of the server..
+ who is making the site??
i hope your staff is more then 10 otherwhise you wont get that much players on it..

i like almost all points, but here are my critics:
1) -> ?? wtf do you mean?
when you really have read all posts here, you would know more about what you said in points 3)and 6). RF-system will be like Mal said, you can reinforce, but have to pay. and i think its the best. +2 and +3 is like for cheaters and ppl who dont want and dont like to enjoy game.
8) is like.. wtf, dude? noone cares about any connection here. when you cannot play it, dont play it. i dont think that the whole project will be edited only for one person -.-"...
point 12) makes no sence hwne you say or both. for me it sounds like: make them better and make them disappear after this.
13)-> there are monsters with elementar damage. paly AL more and you will see it.
14) would be deleting the death penalty and thats all. or when you want to make it like this: in kal you could buy a 3 hours ticket that would delete death penalty for this time for your char for this time.
