Normally glitches like this follow the same steps, the only difficult part is finding a way to crash the server.

load into raid > drop friend the loot > they extract > you crash server (normally results in an invalid raid for you, so you get your loot back.)

You put a field cache in the depot and immediately drop it just before it goes in, you still get the loot but I don't think it works anymore

At first, I used it a lot, but they started to counter it because it works with an ID system. very easily, just look at what players are on the servers when it gets ddos'ed and compare it to the players on the next server that gets ddossed, repeat until you single out the players that are on every server that gets ddos'ed. If they see the same player every time a server gets ddos'ed its pretty obv its that player.
