Help with SQL server magangement studio express

I downloaded SQL SMSE but when i go to install it something always happens and the installation fails. Then a error code comes up bla bla bla

Can someone help me out with this ? do i need other programs to run it, im running windows xp btw dont know if this makes any difference thanks :rolleyes:

You didn't provide any details on your problem so nobody is really going to be able to help you based off the information you provided.

Pretty much the installation fails everytime.

I suggest reading through Microsoft Knowledge Base or MSSQL forum. I found solutions to most my problems there.
