Wifi Password Breaking

Hello comunity,

So yeah i have a really terrible internet connexion , i mean it really sucks :s but the good news is that my neighboor has a 100 Mb/s Connexion yaaay ! but its password protected -.-
So i was thinking maybe some of you have a way to find out what the password is (either with a clever way or with just brute force)

PS: Don't answer like "Just go ask him he won't say no" or "Just give him 20 bucks a month and its good for both of you" and trolling like this please :)

Depends on which encryption your neighbour uses.
WEP, WPA or WPA2? WEP is easy to crack, WPA and WPA2 are difficult and it's not really a crack.. more like bruteforce.. could take you months :D

However, you'll need a Wifi card that allows packet injection and i would recommend a Linux installation or livecd.

Take a look at backtrack, it's a linux live distribution just made for stuff like this.

i'm a complete retard when it comes to computer programs , servers , connexion and all that crap , i just surf the net , hit on the chicks on facebook , and play games :D so can you tell me how to find out about the nature of my neighbours wifi ? ( whether its WPA or WPE or what the fuck is that xD)

just go to him and ask if he likes to share the connection, maybe when u pay the half of the price ..
