auf **** erstveröffentlicht (als scar-l) poste ich das mal auch hier
übersetzen werd ichs nicht ich hoffe jeder hier kann soweit englisch :p


Since Z8/Smilegate have improved their hacking recognize system there are some new "traps" to us hack - users


im not a good coder but i wanna show u something else very usefull:
some "xtraps" and how to avoid em best

[1] Delete all NOT for game needed files in the CrossFire folder and make a backup in a rar file for example
(i dont remember the names of these files so o made a screenshot of the remaining files in the folder

note that the folder "Log" and the folder "HGWC" will be restored when u play but u can delete them everytime again - if u dont want to do it manually use ccleaner to do the job automatically for u
the most dangerous folder is "Report" - it saves and sends ur data about crashed while hacking etc





now for a bit more advanced users - i presuppose some basics in networking and system knowledge:

when istalling use custom - NOT standard
tell the installer u do
-NOT want the browser serurity bar crap
-NOT want to be a part of "defense net" and
-NOT to recognize the programms automatically
then it asks u to restart - proceed



next it will recognize ur LAN/WLAN settings - normally u can klick OK



u can disable auto update to prevent ZA to dial home if u want - just take a look on all menu points they are self-explaining



then find the menu options shown on this pic
and set the program restrictions it like here shown (since im german mine options are called different ~.^)

the only windows service that must be allowed is generic host process(but uncheck server rights for it)
also disable server rights for all crossfire things



then at last check these options

maybe u will get some notifications that ZA has blocked some things that wanted to get on ur pc - thats a good sign it showas u it works ;)



if ur done with that start crossfire
-> since this is the first time zone alarm will ask u if these programs are allowed to access the internets
check always allow



if it asks u for "act as a server" DENY IT - thats important (it asked on my vista machine but NOT on my xp one)



maybe one time "xtrap.xt" will try to access the internets - this is the most dangerous part
make sure to deny that cause if u not it will send an error report with a small dump including ur hackattempt (maybe even the .dll) directly to wiselogic ldt.

note that HGWC will load a bit slower the first time - this is cause it wants to do some traffic and since we do not let it it will try a few times but then give up ;)
also u may notice a sight ping improvement since not the normal traffic from the hack countermeasures will take place :)




now enjoy ur game with a little bit less stress from beiing caught while hacking on ur main acc ^^





-----anyway this tut can NOT protect u from beeing reported - it just protects u from beiing detected by the ingame hack-deteckt-and-report system!!-----

Das nennen von Rival-Foren ist unerwünscht.

wie ich schon geschrieben habe...
diese methode schützt NICHT vor replays die andere aufzeichnen! - sie unterbindet lediglich den traffic zwischen der auto-reportkomponente das hackshieldsystems und dem wiselogic server

er hat mit es funktioniert wohl gemeint dass die firwall wirklich die themengebenden reportdaten vom absenden abhält- wie man dann im FW log ja sehen kann ^^

Die beste möglichkeit nicht gebannt zu werden ist erst gar nicht zu hacken ;) aber für die gerne Hacken ^^ ist es sehr hilfreich bekommst vom mir ein THX
