"6562+1 items=+9"

^^ so crazy. nobody gonna do that. just win 3 +8s from lotto and trade them for the ones you want. I just made it sound easy, but it would probably take months to find somebody with the +8 you wanted that wants the +8 you have. I know like a +1 ring is better than a +2 warr armor, but at numbers like +8, it probably doesn't amtter what item, they are +8's
01/22/2007 00:44 RainbowOrange#3
yea i know that why i said it not important anymoe after stupid patch

Then +3 would need 12 +1's instead of 10 , or?

(3 +2 = +3)

no .. she's right .. it only needs 10 [+1]

1 [+2] --> updated item = 1*4 [+1] = 4 [+1]
2 [+2] --> 2 * 1 [+2] = 2 * 3 [+1] = 6 [+1]

then total = 4 [+1] + 6 [+1] = 10 [+1]

the formula :
Code:
total = ((tn - 1) * 2) + tn
tn = total needed [+1]

ex : for +3 :
tn = 4 from [+2]

total = ((4-1) * 2) + 4 = 10

but the strange is when i tried to calculate using +1 calculator from CO forum, it's wrong amount on +6 (it's 344) and higher ... i guess the calculator is wrong :rolleyes:
01/22/2007 11:32 fady1wu#9
erm lol.
geush you like math :P
but this is whel known
01/22/2007 11:38 gentonk#10
lol .. but yeah it's well known .. just trying to correct Coksnuss ... and when i looked on [+1] image about composing which i got long time ago, the amount is also wrong :rolleyes: ..

ok u have that massive calculation thingo...i have

the next + will take 3* as many +1's as the first, so for +3 from +2 u need 6 because +1-+2 takes 2.... so much easier, just *3 each time

don't understand :dizzy: ... just *3 from what ? total [+1] of upgraded one ? then u're wrong .. tried to calculate using your *3 until [+9] :p ... or atleast try to calculate [+4] ..

@ gentonk Hmmm, yea but if according to her, '' i meant from +0 to +2 not from +1 to +2 ''.
Then +3 should have been 12. cux its 3*(1*4 [+1] = 4 [+1]) ^^
01/22/2007 16:47 tasha#14
use this to see how many +1's and how much it will cost you

but if not then input like this :
Code:
[u][b]Input :[/b][/u]
[b]Current Item + :[/b] [empty]
[b]Target Item +:[/b] [+3]
[b]Cost per +1:[/b] [0]
and you will get result like this :
Code:
[u][b]Result :[/b][/u]
[+0 to +1] 2 +1 items
[+1 to +2] 2 +1 items
[+2 to +3] 6 +1 items
[+0 to +3] 10 +1 items
