Thanks for all the support :)

The program does make use of Window's shutdown.exe. I will post the source if anyone is interested... It isn't really much though.

A couple of good ideas :) I am not sure how I would do them off the top of my head, but I will certainly have a rummage to see whether either are possible (actually... come to think of it, I do believe I could it in the system bar... I will have to check up on it though).

just click Start > Run > shutdown -s -f -t TIME

put time that u want your pc shut down in seconds.... example:

shutdown -s -f -t 21600 will shutdown my pc in 6 hours... ;)

but was a good idea... gz

Works perfect for those that cant figure out the build-in shutdown on win XP

the system-bar thing would allow you to run double desktop (which I'm using) and just for the kiddies that can't run CO at night, have it in the systembar. Also makes the taskbar look 'clean'

Keep up the good work and I'll keep following the future update :)

+1

@ memorized128
The default location for shutdown.exe is:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\shutdown.exe

Run the command prompt and type
Code:
shutdown.exe /?
for a list of the parameters it can take

I will hopefully work on it this weekend :)

Sorry for the double post..

..but dude, this is MY thread with MY little hack. I don't need somone like you coming in and hijacking my thread. Please remove your program and put it in your own thread, not mine, otherwise I will report you.

I'm not trying to be mean but I would appreciate it if you respected my thread and my work.

@trinity, thanks for the support ^^

@others, thanks for the karma :D

Yeah I must agree with the maker.

He made something that runs easy as hell, even works on my win98 which I use to get my downloads in to have it nicely shut down after its ALL done. So if you have other programmas, you can either make a new threat or just mention to google it. It's not nice to put a link here. BUT thats just me thinking... just imagine it was you who made it... other programmas found online arent even your work so why bother..

On the XP shutdown.exe, it works nicely, but when I suddenly decide to leave my pc I dont wanna figure out how much seconds go into 9 hours, 18 mins and 30 seconds... and since this prog runs a lot easier. I don't see why not to use it.

And thanks the other guy who gave me my ninth karma :) This is surprisingly popular considering it was something I made basically for myself :D
