5165 ini protection

06/23/2010 14:11 devilsmum#1
Hey,

I don't suppose anyone has any idea on how to bypass/remove the ini protection in 5165 sources. Specifically CoSx.

Any help/hints would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
devilsmum

well for some reason.. 5126 source and above don't allow you to add new meshes.. for example if you add the artifact gear inplace of the existing 130s.. they show up fine.

But if you want to make them say 135, the icons will show.. the item is there, but when equipped they are invisible.

It has to do with the dbc files.
So far no one knows how to edit them afaik, well maybe acid co owners.

I know that some people did it but it's look like they don't want to release it lol

Because that would make their servers non-unique.

He could also mean the ACO owners.

I thought it was just a dbc -> ini converter, but it didn't do anything more.

It's look like dbc are now stocked in C3.wdb
Maybe if we can extracts dbc and modif them we can add items.

surely it can be extracted in virtually the same way as the wdfs.. would just need to modify the program
