First post read my buddies account alot the past couple of days and never saw anything about this even tried to search. So I decided to make my own account and see what you guys thought.
Now I did see threads about how every item has its own id, but as i am sure many of you have noticed items dropped by mobs have different stats than those sold by the npcs, for example the other day hunting i found 3 iron armors for a warrior i cant remember the exact stats on them but i do know that the majic def on two of them were a percent higher than the other along with actual def being one higher as well. I have noticed this for a while on many items including the ones dropped by mobs such as the roaring and snow apes the stats of which are much different.
Now to my theory, i have noticed that some items are upgrading easier than others such as my trojan who has twin super blades, while the one upgraded to super in twin with only 2 dbs while the other took 3, currently the one blade remains to upgrade in lvls easily in 3-4 mets in twin while the other takes at times up to 25-30 these arent exactly low lvls either the one is at lvl 90 and the other at 85. So noticing differrences in stats on gear i began to get higher lvl stuff from birds and bats which also have different stats and have begun to notice that there is somewhat of an upgrade success difference in them i even got a socket on one armor though that was more luck i believe than anything.
So the reason I am testing this theory is that when making a new char if the armors, caps, weapons, etc... that i have found upgrade easier it will save alot on mets and dbs possibly havent tested much with the db part as they are expensive and unit i figure out a little more I dont wish to just throw them away.
I hope this was informative and i hope its new i tried searching for it and i hope you guys can give me some input on this and i know more than likely I'm gonna get flammed some but be gentle its my first time.
