[GUIDE] Making Edits In Gimp!

Okay, so I've been on EPVP for a while, and i don'th think I've noticed any guides on how to make edits on gimp, so here goes.

Why:
gimp is free (YAY!), and my lazy ass doesn't feel like torrenting a huge file like Photoshop.

How: download the attached .dds plugin file, and read the readme (note: where it says Program Files, i use vista x64, and thats program files (x64) for me)
If you are too lazy, here it is:

gimp-dds 2.0.9

To install, extract these files to your GIMP plugins directory.
This directory is usually located at:
C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins

now, all you have to do is go into your Conquer folder and open up one of those .dds files.

Oh, also if anyone has that old COFusion PDF guide on the formula for figuring out those codes for armors and such, i am very much in need of that document!

if Korvacs is cool with it i can can upload it and link to it. Or perhaps he could start a thread with it? UltimateLegend may have made it available at magus' site (if i remember correctly), so you could check there too. Nice work on GIMP, its a great program. Free ftw ^^

I don't really think this counts a guide to making edits with gimp, more as of just saturation modification.

Big number of threads here are basic saturation tweaks anyway haha.

nice guild but i think ppl who do PS edits have more skill has its harder to use "IF UR NEW TO IT" :D but still nice guild
