Gamepad/Controller

Recently saw that the game is offering Gamepad configuration..
Tried it with several gamepads but the only detected one was the Dual Sense 5 via Steam.
Even with the game detecting the pad it has still no funtion.

Any idea or simpler way to play with pad?

The gamepad option is kinda fucked up within the code itself, your best bet would be to use a third party tool and make the game think you're using a keyboard instead.
Besides, even if somehow you can get the settings to work, you must be aware that the game doesn't have "special" menus to interact with the NPC, this means that you can pretty much only use it as a way to play and nothing else unlike recent games.
