Durability Calculations

So, how exactly is the durability calculated? Is there a percent chance that it won't be dropped if you hit or get hit with dodge or in general? Does it drop for every hit you take/give? Wondering what exactly causes it to drop and how much it should drop per that option, such as maybe monsters drop it slower than a player or skills drop it slower than melee attacks. Trying to add the calculations into the source, which doesn't seem like it's there yet.

So I think unless the item is socketed with kylin gems, you decrease durability by 1 on a random armor item slot everytime you take damage. If you have kylin gems in the randomly selected slot, you will then roll a dice based on the kylin gem modifier and only remove durability if the dice roll fails.

With attacks its a little different if you're dual wielding. The right handed weapon has a higher weight than the left handed weapon. It might be twice as likely but I am not sure about that. The same rules for kylin gems apply.

Skills - as far as I know - do not impact anything. Durability decreases just the same. Eg. the Tao backsword durability will drop with Spells.
