Metin2 p-server discords have a loophole (example: Aeldra)

So I just want to say that Metin2 p-server discords have a loophole, because anyone can take them down.
Like 2 weeks ago I reported the aeldra p-server discord for DMCA and I suppose today it was removed? Atleast that's what their website says
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

Also I have nothing against aeldra, but I just wanted to see if it works (for test purposes)
and in the end I noticed that anyone can fill a DMCA takedown and discord does not care if it is valid or not.

The only requirement: the dmca takedown must come from a company and there must be everything valid, address etc.

If you have questions feel free to ask me

Why should I care about a server, that doesn't even have a presentation on our site? ^^

Apart from the high player numbers, the server is managed very badly and had a dupe bug anyway. It took a very long time until they realized that. But M2 server admins and players are generally very slow at detecting such destructive "game features". :D

Can't help you if you're happy about playing on a server, where a few overpowered items were duplicated more than hundred times to be sold for real currency. Doesn't sound like fun to me when everybody has the same duplicated items. As a player I'd prefer a fair server without a dupe bug anytime. However..

Why? If I would say how exactly I do it, then everyone would do it?
Then every Metin2 P-Server discord would be gone, I guess?

Aeldra banned my IP address after I reported their discord lul

but I wonder, how did they know that exactly this IP address reported them on discord?
Because it was a different IP, so I am confused why this one was choosen?

As a player of sigma and aeldra i can tell you that you didnt really recognized anything of a dupe bug. Surely there was a player that was "better" in the first days, but you have to own the items you duped and that also take really much time for people that dont know aeldra well. Every dye and soul of truth which is needed for upgrading PvM jewelry and PvP Equipment +9 had a normal price in sigma and nothing was that cheap that you could see anything suspicious in there.

Besides the fact that the dupebug where in the Server since start the Server has a good Teamler for Quality Assurance who controls tradelogs and other stuff daily. Every player knows that it is impossible to sell your stuff on Aeldra that easily. And even if the player sold stuff, the Team could've checked the origin from different items which were sold and would recognize that there is something wrong with his stuff. Your statement is just false and everyone who plays on aeldra would agree with me. Im pretty sure that you dont play Aeldra, because it seems as if you have no clue about the team structure and anything which has to do with yang selling.

I know Metin2 for 15 years now. Let's wait another 5-10 years. When the game has < 10k players globally, then we can talk openly about exploits and stuff. But the Aeldra development team knows very well, that there was a dupe bug. I'm not sure whether they know how it exactly works, but they managed to fix it after a few failed hot-fixes. ^^

And when it comes to selling ingame stuff for real currency: ask all the resellers how they do it. There are a few ways and you can't track all trading activity, especially not on a well-crowded server.

It's pretty easy to takeodown a discord server:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]

But keep in mind:
Quote:
There are legal and financial consequences for fraudulent or bad faith submissions. Please confirm that you are the rights holder, or have the authority to act on the rights holder’s behalf, and that you understand the repercussions of submitting a false claim.
Anyway big companies will follow dmca reports straight to avoid fines.

If aeldra complains about the takedown, the server should be reactivated unless it's a real dmca e.g from Gameforge.
